I think he'd make a great prop but just don't see him fitting into our team anywhere.
Robbo demands so much more of our edge players, they need to be strong defenders, run good lines and at least have some core ball playing ability.
I really can't put enough emphasis on the defence part.

Can see him playing a utility role off the bench in place of Mortimer beyond that. There's no way the club would be rating him over RTS this early in his career as to try and mould RTS into a centre and in turn blocking Moga and Milne's path to First Grade.
Hastings will be developed as a half.
As for Moga, he has a long way to go. Barring injury, will be lucky to play firsts this year.
Tackling bags will be his best friend in 2014.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

It was a funny year for the cowboys last year. It seemed that most of their players didn't want to play under Henry, and then as soon as it was announced that Henry was getting the sack at the end of the season, the players then started to have a go. I think that Taumalolo being a young bloke was caught up in the general poor attitude of the team.
If you look at what he did in their last few games, you can see what a destructive player he is. As you say he is a very destructive runner of the ball as he has so much power, so he doesn't need to be a hole runner as he just goes through them. He can be a match winner, which we will really need when SBW is no longer with us. If you look at the semi final game between the sharks and cowboys, inside the last 10 seconds of the game Taumalolo set up Linnett to score in the corner. If it was a specialist winger outside of him instead of Linnett, the cowboys would have scored and won the game as a specialist winger knows when diving over in the corner you have your legs up high which Linnett didn't do. For Taumalolo to be able to do what he did in such a crucial time of a finals game and being only 20yrs old, shows that he is a special type of player.
We probably won't end up signing him anyway. If we don't I sure hope that guys like Langi and Willis Meehan come along big time next year and we don't even have to worry at all about who we should be looking at getting to help fill the huge hole left by SBW.The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

I'm not sure about Langi, but Meehan is an exciting prospect. This kid has the potential to be the most feared forward in the comp.Having said that i don't think he will achieve that. The kid is a very good fighter and if he wins a gold medal at the games the big money potentially on offer in boxing if hes good enough will ensure he follows that path and not rugby league.I'm looking forward to seeing the kid fight in the games if he makes the team.
