No surprise that you didn't dig this thread up last week when Taumalolo put in one of the best 80 min performances of the week.

He won them the game last week. Lost them the game this week. If you wanna simplify it that much.

Sounds like a typical 20 odd year old NRL player.

Ftr we don't need him as we have Willis Meehan who will probably be better.

Willis Goes alright and could become a great NRL player but he a bit to do before that..

Yep although TBH I don't see SBW as being a brick, he's a super fit, fast, ball playing back rower. I'd say that Meehan and Toumalolo are both bigger than SBW.

First time I saw Meehan was in Melbourne this year (meet and greet, he travelled down with the team). He's really thick and am sure... size matters because you need to be able to match up with the big boys. Meehan also has good technique so can do that.

My only comment is that I don't think he'll replace SBW's skillset. IMO you can bulk up little guys who have good footy minds but you can't teach guys like FPN how to play like SBW. Guys like George Burgess accept that they'll never be particularly creative/skillful and get by with pure muscle.

To replace SBW you're looking for a ~190cm bloke whose skills are up there with Jackson Hastings... not a 195cm guy who already weighs ~130kg and is used to running through 180cm/85kg NYC players head on.

I agree. Jason Taumalolo simply cannt do what SBW did. He cannot win grand finals for you like SBW did.

Why is the thread titled "Message to POS Taumalolo 2015"?
I thought POS was more to do with finding the best up & comers before they are at other clubs, I could be wrong.

I would have titled it 'Message to Nick or Robbo Taumalolo 2015" because Im thinking they are the ones responsible for buying players considered to be very good players, rep players from other clubs.

Unless FPN is being released I would rather the Roosters go with who we have next year JWH, Friend (post op), Moa, Aubusson, Guerra, Cordner. Bench Napa, FPN, Lui, Hastings. 18th Meehan, 19th Evans, 20th Kennedy I suppose. 2016 hopefully they sign Merrin who I think is a more consistent player & would be better value IMO. If FPN is released & they are on similar money then I think it would be a great idea to go after Taumalolo but what makes you think Taumalolo is asking for a release & why would the Cowboys release him?
