  • new 2010 roosters jersey design

this is what i found from one the nrl forum, and i think its on the isc site.
for the first time we have LOST THE COLLAR. it follows a new trend from jersey manufactures ISC to loose the collar.

all we need now is sponsers!!

Wow, that's ugly. I really hate the no collar thing on jerseys too.

It looks like a fake jersey you can buy from a $2 store

              Oh that is fugly.

I want the collar back too and the jersey to remain the same as it has been for the last ten years or so. After all, you can't improve on perfection. And despite the lack of a major sponsor, I was actually looking forward to buying a clean traditional jersey this year. Now it looks like a friggin tee shirt.

                  I love the "Numbers available 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0"

not much of a choice is there ?

I thought ISC were in receivership and going down the gurgler

Geez I'm glad my Roosters jerseys have had a few years' break and so will last for a while yet. Hopefully a long while.

Because the new style does absolutely nothing for me to look at, and I doubt the result would be any better if I put it on.

What's wrong with a little tradition and history (not to mention a bleeding collar)?

It has a negative impact on new jumper sales

And that's much more relevant to the Rooster "marketing" people than anything to do with tradition or history

On the field, there is no collar so you can't be grabbed by it for a tackle anymore..

I guess you could still have a collar in the stands..

Depends whether you want a replica of what the players use or not..

                            You can't stop progress...(Porpoise Spit)..

Not fussed too much with the no collar.

There are pictures of founding players having jerseys with out collars.

I wonder if there was such an upheval when they went from Shoelace tie ups on the v neck to the good ole button !!!!
