Players adapt differently to each competition - Eddie impressed on debut last week and came from recommendation from Michael Maguire.

For example, Lance Hohaia is one of the worse players I've ever seen in Super League. No exaggeration.

The Baaaaaargiss brothers have given us a taste of what to expect from the English:

I am well aware he was at Leeds and he had injury issues whilst there I actually lived there for some time He made about a dozen appearances for Leeds and did sweet fa for them He was derided by many of the fans over there He was conisdered watched up and his signing was met with derision by the usual clowns here who support this club Only for him to play a leading hand in our GF win

I stll recall going back to the club one Sunday afternoon early on in the season where they had a signing session after the match There was Mullins sitting there at the end of the table with nobody except myself and my girlfriend who came up and spoke with him

A fella by the name of Brett Mullins was an absolute superstar here Yet never got going over there Then came back to OZ and played a leading hand in our 2002 GF win

I've always thought the old credit/blame thingy wacked Shandy.

I mean Mullos, whom I really respect and enjoyed watching, was just a winger with us. Sure he offered some great expierence but a leading hand in the 02 GF, I just don't see it.

Conversely pRicky as our coach generally gets zero credit for 02 but is blamed for losing in 03 and 04.

Something doesn't really add up with that sorta shit.

Credit and blame are often emotional fanboy reactions IMO.

Mullins did play a leading hand Scoring the winning try scooping up a loose ball and racing away 65 metres to score against Broncos Also he played major hand in the opening try in the GF after being put away down the wing by Fletcher he then gave someone a beautiful old fashioned dont srgue fend to get clear and put Hegarty over His experience as you have touched on was invaluable Make no mistake Mullins did play a leading hand in us winning the GF

Meh I don't disagree with your facts Shandy but I do disagree with the credit you're giving Mullos on that day but opinions are like arseholes and you're entitled, all good.

That was a sweet play, the fend and ball were sublime.

I still credit Mozz and Freddy for that day. IMO they took the game away from The Gorillas attempt at inspiring The Bros.

One of the best things to come from Wigan was the Northern Soul scene made famous at the Wigan Casino Dance Hall during the 70s and later Dexys Midnite Runners - Keep the Faith the motto
