  • The Wigan fans

Are under the impression that the NZ team they played was their top side. All I can say is GOOD LUCK to Wigan on the 22nd because if they play like that against us we'll flog them by 60.

So they don't think Tomkins would be part of the Warriors best side?

I'm sure most know who Shaun Johnson is too.

What's just as amusing is all the Wigan and Super League experts that have appeared on this forum. A bit of humility goes a long way.

They live on the other side of the world.

I knew it was a trial, but didn't realise that The Beast and a whole lot of other first graders were missing for the whole game...I didn't watch the whole game.
Maybe the Wigan fans weren't focused too.

They were short on first graders because they're playing a full first grade squad in the 9's.

They fancy winning it, what with it being in NZ an' all.

The only first graders to play were the pack (discounting Townsend, who might get a 1st grade gig) - none of which will be on show on Sat/Sun.

I think you're in cloud cuckoo land if you genuinely believe that to true Raymond. It was a good second half performance from the Wigan youngsters, nothing more, nothing less. Can we play better than that you ask? Absolutely! You certainly won't bellend us by anywhere near 60. How many Wigan games did you actually watch last year just out of interest?

i wish wigan well and an injury free game, but do realisewe were incensed by the rubbish from coach brown about your hard hitting props, good luck with that realistically your going to be taught a very big footy lesson! does anyone know if its played under international rules with one refereee only?

It is not often I agree with you But on this occassion I certainly do. Having watched yesterdays game i think the bookmakers have the betting market correct on this upcoming game

We shall see. Personally I'm confident that we will give you a game at the very, very least and if we play as well as we can then it's there for the taking. Either way it'll be a good p!ss up in Sydney after haha.

Yeah it is going to be played under international rules by the way mate.

Mate it's your fans that are kidding themselves, If we take this game seriously as we did in 2003 when we thrashed St Helens 38-0 in Bolton I'd be very surprised if Wigan got within 40 of us. I don't think you guys realise how good the Roosters are.

I'm not doubting they are a good side but they are certainly not unbeatable as Canberra, The Gold Coast and several other teams proved last season. If you can't believe that your own team have a chance of winning then what's the point in even bothering?

Hmm the commentators last night were of the belief it was 2 referees Mind you if forced to take someones word I probably take yours over the gibberers whom were commentating last night

I thoight your side ran some nice plays last night There was one in the 1st haldf which was butchered when the forward held on to it for two long then passed it forward to Bowen If he just passes when he catches Bowen scores untouched and a couple of nice ones in the 2nd half which put the winger away The dry and hard grounds here could be as much your friend as an enemy It will help with expansive footy as opposed to over UK BuT will be to your detriment when having to defend
