Summary:

Pearce is a f*cking monster in defence, especially for a half. He always has been, but the GF win must have done his confidence a world of good over the off season.

Fittler still has it. 40 years old and still directing the backs around and making defences look silly. Similar to the 40 year old Alessandro Del Piero making the A League look like u 9's.

Some of the young blokes need work. SST had poor hands, Reuben was poor in defence, Liu was a bit slow.

Other than that, I am not concerned. This whole comp is tip footy designed for teams like the Warriors. We were never going to win. As long as the boys chuck the footy around and no one gets injured, then its a great weekend.

good to watch for a bit of fun, but I am more looking forward to our Wyong trial against the Knights today/tomorrow (not sure when it is?)

Refereeing of Roosters games hasn't improved any.

Kids from our lower grades, in a match that's not proper footy.
Only basically a trial.

Hopefully the players' minds are not too shattered at the loss and can improve in the next match.

That pretty much sums it up. I see the refs still love us.

With a 25% completion rate Freddy was still very good. Imagine if the youngsters coud just hold the ball and allow Freddy and Mitch to link up with those 20m bullet passes and put people away.

I suspect the likes of Reuben, McDonald atc saw it as an opportunity to impress. Hence the very selfish play at times.

We were awful. The ref equally bad.

I see that as a pretty obvious fact. I'm drawing no conclusions any further than the fact that they're just not very good.

I fail to see how this is in dispute.
