Who blamed the referee you dumb fcuk ? People have though mentioned they made obvious mistakes I counted 3 all which went against us Not a bad effort in 18 minutes of 9 a side footy footy

Maybe this format is different/difficult to referee or something.

Shitty calls by the ref.. But a lot of mistakes from our boys and from what I've seen where nowhere near the best team in the comp ill be happy with no injuries this weekend ..

Brad will take a lot of confidence from that game, had a few good touches but i dont think he got tackled once, i expect him to bring back that left foot step next game, if we can hold the ball he will be even more involved. Pearce looks great, love this kid and see him having a big 2014

Actually I thought there were no scrums, in the first few games it was all hand overs. Then late in our game the ref put a scrum down ...so that's a little confusing

Only 9's footy, but the worrying trend to me was the defence or nil defence of Ruebin, and to a lesser extent McDonald, even in 9's you can tell if somebody can tackle or not, so a lot of work to be done there on their defence, before they get anywhere near a first grade start. Martin was the pick of our young blokes, he was in everything, and showed some speed and skills. Freddy was ok, the young blokes were not used to his long passes, and put a few down, but in the fait dinkum dept, he's there for a promotion of the series, not to win it for us. Looks like a big season coming up for Jnr, has muscled up abit, and his dad would be proud of his defence.Not raining on the coast at the moment, and does appear to be fining up somewhat, so all going well, will make it to the Wyong trials, and report back later this evening, or in the morning.

We have bigger things to worry about unlike the other teams (WCC) , Robbo himself said we havent trained at all with the 9s team so it is no surprise we look disorginised in defense, They are just throwing it around and hoping for the best which is why we looked bad, but now they have played a game together i expect game 2 to be an improvement.

That winger Ronald McDonald blew. He let two tries in and made SKiD look dumber than usual not simply cutting back infield on more than one occasion.

Still great to see PearceOrf play with confidence and looking the leader we've all hoped he become.

And Freddy already showed fast between the ears is maybe more important than fast feet.

our pool has had 2 games so far. parr thru and the drongos. we need to win +7 over the drongos and the dullbogs to beat or not get flogged by parra.

liu looks very slow. naps not running real hard, and we look like we are using a compressed d line trying to stop the oppositions back line.
