its an opinion mate, would it have made your day that much better if jenko had got his name in there? Slap $20 on him to be top try scorer for the year and then you can stick it to them.

- Merritt... screwed our chances of Origin victory and got chased down by Mini.
- Uate... since being named the fastest man in League has done nothing.
- Slater... fair enough.
- Nofoaluma... is a 1-try-wonder so-far. Best try all season until Jennings in the GF.
- Tomkins... WTF? Did alright in the Super League. Can we include some NYC/reserve grade players with good stats?
- Wolfman... I personally find the other side of the field more dangerous when it's Manly playing. Unless I'm Tupou and it's Wolfman trying to tackle me in the air.
- Barba, GI, Hayne... sure, they are all talented. This all depends on Barba staying clean, Hayne not breaking down and GI not getting a season ending injury from Napa in round 1.

Having ruled out all Roosters, why not throw Shaun Johnson's name out there? Sorry we could only choose the best in the league, but this gun is close... although I'm personally more scared of the Fish based on our last encounter.

Isn’t it just nice to smile and think of the backline with Mini who didn’t put a foot wrong throughout the whole 2013 campaign and the Grand Final, Tupou who flew 30,000 feet to score our first try, Jennings who scored the match winner in the 72nd minute, SKD who played the majority of the game with a broken jaw yet scored one of the (teams) try’s of the year and RTS who in my opinion is not only one of the nicest and most humble of people going around but arguably may be one of the best full backs/wingers that have ever played for Easts.

Let these (reporters) reptiles from the DT have their fun; they’re all clones of Rothfield anyway and when all is said and done they do nothing but blow sunshine up each other’s backsides and for a cameo appearance they invite Robert Hughes around for some inspiration
