After watching both the WCC and the Charity Shield
I don't believe we can't afford too man. We'll lose Pearce, Maloney, Jennings, Cordner and possibly Napa to SOO duties so we'll need to leap out of the blocks and put as much room between us and the field as possible for the SOO period. We couldn't afford to lose any if we're sitting mid table come mid season.
Besides, I reckon the boys are eager to rip in and give everyone a lesson.
Chook.
Chookmeister speaks the truth.. We need to start strong and send a message.

Parkway brings the message.. you do it well mate...
Although it is a long season....and one win does not make a Winter, Spring or Autumn for that matter...well the Charity Shield does for $ouff$.
However, as defending Premiers we need to make a statement to the rest of the NRL in Round 1. There is no better way to do that than by crushing the Vermin!!!!

That's where you've let yourself down mate. Why would you do that to a teammate? Let him take the blame.....It's not fecking u11's.
We won the comp because of the spirit and teamwork within the squad. It's not about who's at fault, it's about trying to cover for your mate if he finds himself out of position.
A bloke in a team with no spirit would be happy to let his team mate take the blame. Thankfully those years are long behind us.
As it stands, SKD got the blame.
Come contract time, when the boardroom is chattering...best to be known as the winger no one gets past.
SKD/RTS needs to stay on his wing and never let anyone past him on the outside.
Then those inside him, besides not having a fall guy...might just be able to get to the centres to stop the try, whereas they have not much hope of reaching the sideline.
