Most of our backs got manhandled and thrown like rag dolls, souths made alot of meters with defence.

Parra are going to surprise a few teams this season.
However I can't see the eels being as physical as Souths which was a big reason we lost tonight - their physicality took it out of us and as we were underdone we couldn't keep up, hence the last few tries.
Hopefully next week we have a chance to defend our own line regularly early on, if we hold it out then our confidence will slowly rise and will hopefully influence our attack. Either that or we get some early ball and a chance to execute some plays and build a bit of pressure, which was non-existent tonight because we couldn't hold the ball.
It will be heads down bums up at training on Monday that's for sure

We dropped the ball, rushed our plays, applied no pressure and had to make 100 tackles more than our opposition in warm conditions.
Ben Cummins gave the Vermin 12 penalties to 6 and I don't think we received a penalty in the last 35 minutes of the game.
Let the Vermin enjoy their annual March premiership. We will prevail in the end.
Remember coach Robinson's talking to the refs in the tunnel?
We won't prevail if we keep playing like that, and giving away dumb penalties and dropping the ball.
One out running inside their 20...no run arounds, no switches of play, no angled running thru the centres with SBW bursting onto the ball...a la Inglis did.
All Souths did all night was run...all we did all night was tackle...thanks to the refs.
Both of them...baaah!
SBW needs a new haircut, and needs to lose that silly mo....they have changed him.
