0 line breaks in 80 mins from a team that led the league last year is obviously a concern.

it was only round 1 but with our draw around origin we don't want to give away too many early in the season.
We had no go-forward the entire night. I'm not surprised by that fact. The backs had no room.

RTS needs to to slowly make the transition to fullback. We can't carry mini this season.

SKD is just a lost cause. I don't know whether it is just better to blood a rookie. It will be very much the same result, but at least with some upside in regards to the future. Teams have figured out that he will misread that second man play EVERY TIME.

Apart from that, I think we need someone to replace LOD because we lose a lot of go-forward when JWH and MOA go off.

        SKD was clearly targeted.

Once again it was a lopsided penalty count.

We broke records last year despite the penalties against.

It won't happen again this year.

Cummins was cummin' up Souffs arse all night.

          Farcical.

          But we were atrocious.

But it's Rnd 1 so who cares.

The only major concern is that when JWH and Moa are off we have ZERO go forward. Might as well as have Dancin' Dallas out there in their place.

Bring back smiffy and bwaif as co-coaches. And Martin Kennedy cause we need his fast work around the ruck........

I think tonite was good really. We obviously needed a solid hitout to blow out the cobwebs, and it will give us a foundation to work on. I wouldn't be surprised if this sort of performance was repeated in the next few weeks either..... But we will be right

Mate I've been saying that we are two big bopper props short this season. The bigger packs will trouble us this season unless we can fast track Evans and a few other big boppers in our squad.

Our fitness levels were quite poor compared to souths. A good sign IMO.

Aside from one or two dubious penalties, I think the penalty count reflected the game well.

JWH had some brain explosions. That one with his foot on Luke(yes Luke took a dive) was diabolical. I still think he is pretty fit for his weight, but I think he will get better as his weight will drop as the season goes on.

SKD brings a massive dilemma, there are no real contenders for his position, but to be honest nobody in our top 25 can do a worse job than this bloke.

Yep, really missed LOD out there. Napa still needs to grow and Maubs is a bit too small. I think FPN would of helped in this area however he went off injured very early. We will get a better look next week.

We lost 28-10 in the same game last year.

I think we are on a downward slide.

Evans needs to have a run.Mini is well past it but unfortunately the club will still persevere with him and use RTS as a battering ram for kick returns. We were dominated tonight by a better side. This is a wake up call for us, no back-line attack Inglis 3 Mini 0 says it all don't it.And the forwards didn't go much better than Mr mini and co out the back.It will get better it must they were awfull tonight.

Lot of mini critics, but he played no different tonight than last year, took the bombs and brought the ball back as in 13.

Agree but we are going to see the opposition expose mini by putting the ball along the ground alot more

He has been playing for 14 years I don't think they will figure out something now that they wouldn't have done 10 years ago
