Yes I agree with u 100% Roosterfarian he was a second rower until 20s told him, there's to many backs, change
your position to prop or you'll have to look elsewhere....& that's why they trained him as a prop..

But is he mobile enough to cope with the workload backrowers do in defence?

Mun as a back rower how would a bloke who struggles with defending in the middle, like a prop, be able to defend maybe the most important position on the field, being The fringes???

That's why blokes like Maubs and Aiden and $BW and Boyd are always selected, big mobile bodies who can defend edges like a back rower/centre.

Don't forget you usually have a 1/2 on the edge making the back rower an even more important defender in the line.

            The FlogPen .

            You know it makes sense.

Kane plays best when he runs straight with his footwork @ the line, his lateral defence is not a strong point atm. Maybe that's why he was told to look elsewhere unless he plays prop? His problem is his height, Prop is his position..

Then he needs to pile on the kilos, and in a big hurry.

He needs to hold the ball like it's his new baby, stay away from the sideline, run into gaps as hard as he can, and just take the tackle for the moment.

His weight and mobility are Evansly matched, With his height he needs to have great leg drive a strong palm and Good core strength...

He showed sweet fa at the world cup and his nine's form was atrocious.

He's got a lot of work to do to prove he can handle first grade.

I agree mun, The only way he will get better is with good players around him and knowing his role in the team..

At the RLWC he was playing for Fiji with unfamiliar teammates in an unfamiliar system. And the 9s? Lol

Judge him on his performances for us where he's in a system he knows inside out under a coach who knows him well.

What's this strange fixation you have with him going close to the sideline?

I saw him in the 2 televised games on fox last year. he is a prop. needs to drop down in height on the impact of a tackle when he is running, thjis will help stop the lifting he was getting in the Fiji games.

Bongdi Boy's genius. He weaves obscure Easter eggs throughout his posts like a master.
