He said while it is a coincidence, Teddy is definitely not the 'JT' he was referring too.

He did mention a name but because some people on this site don't want me naming names, I will refrain from posting.

After seeing the 'Sam McKendry being shopped around' thread, I rang my father-in-law who is a Roosters board member, and spoke to him about any potential recruitment post SBW.

He said he could confirm that both McKendry and Wade Graham (I didn't see the 'Wade Graham' thread shortly before starting this thread) had held talks with Roosters officials, however both players were only in preliminary talks.

What threw me though was before we finished our conversation, he said: 'It will be good seeing JT'. I tried getting more out of him but he left it at that.

It raises some genuine thought. Which JT was he referring to?

Jonathon Thurston? Unlikely. James Tamou? Maybe. Jason Taumalolo? Hopefully. Or maybe even Jason Taylor?

Can anyone else shed some light on this??

Tariq would be a handy bench player but he would be getting paid too much to play 30mins, unless we keep Aubo on the bench, put Guerra on the right fringe and Sims at lock. Guerra's been killing it at lock this year though and Aubo's too good to be on the bench. I'd prefer our team without him though tbh. I think we should develop Moga into a 2nd rower and play him off the bench for next year.
