His leadership is valuable. He can exercise that on the wing.

Watching Roger absolutely mesmerise 4 defenders off a set-play, makes me realise that we are not utilising the talent that we have correctly.
Maybe you need to have a word with Robbo. He obviously just doesnt get it.

Give the guy a break FFS. Who else would you like at 5/8th and do you really want the team/players to be at their peak in mid March?
I don't see how he is the firing line, no one has said to sack him or drop him. He is a great player and has two pretty average games for his standard

Sheck and Mini are being swapped during the game for a reason.

It's a tragedy seeing Mini capture those bombs, to know he can still do that but the body is letting him down.

Parra were crap tonight, we were better. If we do that to Manly and Melbourne I'll praise Mini until Jessica Gomes wakes up from the mickey I slipped her.

Mini now has 125 tries from 277 games.

Any coincidence his best performance in years coincided with him playing on the wing when we were in the oppositions half and RTS @ fullback?

I think not. Robbo has seen the light.

Agreed... SKD had a blinder by his standards!!!

Mini is still achieving things that he hasn't done in his 15 year career. Almoat cried hearing it was his first hat trick.

Lol if only he had consulted you last year.

Playing RTS in at FB attack is brilliant and ensures that we're continually evolving in attack.

But no doubt Mini must remain at the back in D.

I admit I was wrong about Mini. Smiffy jr has physically transformed a few players including Mini.

However, last night left me with little doubt that RTS is already a much more dynamic fullback than Mini. If RTS can learn to catch he has the potential to become another Slater.

Being serious BigNewman, I actually think the idea of swapping RTS and Mini thru games is a great one.

But why wouldn't you judge RTS the same way as Mini???

I mean Mini can only do against a reserve grade Watsamatta but didn't RTS shine against that same reserve grade Watsamatta???

This is the funniest thing that I read on these forums and hear from humans mouths, especially about players. Cos if you man up and take stock you're using a different scale to judge both players. You're putting Minis efforts down in a back handed way but praising RTS even though they played against the same opposition.

I enjoy your posts BigNewman and I respect your opinion but you must realise your hatred of Mini is clouding your judgement???

Let it go my friend. Succumb to the dark side.

                                Agreed mate.

But what a coach to recognise the reality and maintain team harmony and not insult anyone therefore enhancing both players performance resulting in the best possible outcome for the team.

SmiffyJr, love that nic BTW, he sure has some ability that goes way beyond game plans and structures.
