But why wouldn't you judge RTS the same way as Mini???
I mean Mini can only do against a reserve grade Watsamatta but didn't RTS shine against that same reserve grade Watsamatta???
This is the funniest thing that I read on these forums and hear from humans mouths, especially about players. Cos if you man up and take stock you're using a different scale to judge both players. You're putting Minis efforts down in a back handed way but praising RTS even though they played against the same opposition.
I enjoy your posts BigNewman and I respect your opinion but you must realise your hatred of Mini is clouding your judgement???
Let it go my friend. Succumb to the dark side.
In my opinion, the massive difference is that RTS created his try on his own, in a freakish sequence.
Mini latched on to the last pass created by the good work of the forwards and more importantly SKD. Great support play but not really comparable.
Im not a fan of players swapping positions multiple times during the game. It just over complicates the game and footballers can barely handle a simple plan.
I love Mini, he is a champion. However he just isnt the best option at fullback at our club. Just because we are travelling well doesnt mean that we can't keep evolving.
I have a feeling Trent recognises this, which is why we are seeing RTS more and more at the back.
I don't know where people are getting this vibe that members want Mini sacked. Some just recognise him plying his trade on the wing.
I do believe that last year was the best time for him to retire - rightfully on top.
Showmanship - it's a great thing.Last edited by BigMike; 03-16-2014, 02:04 PM.

He had a good game today. Lets be honest though, all his tries were served on a platter against a reserve grade parra.
His leadership is valuable. He can exercise that on the wing.
Watching Roger absolutely mesmerise 4 defenders off a set-play, makes me realise that we are not utilising the talent that we have correctly.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.
