  • The rumours are strong about Tedesco coming..

LATEST: Strong mail that James Tedesco will be joining The Sydney Roosters in 2015. With Sonny Bill Williams departing at the end of 2014, The Roosters have more than enough money to secure him, if not make him one of the highest paid players if it means snatching him from the Tigers.

like I stated in the james Tedesco thread, if the rumours are true, its pretty weird to go buy a fullback to stop RTS playing in that position

Well done to kegs2 for the heads up a couple days ago. Keep at your father-in-law for some more juice.

Spot on! If RTS goes down next year with an injury, who is going to cover for him at the back?? For such an important position, we can not afford to take that risk! Let's get Tesco!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

          Here's looking at you, kid.

don't get me wrong, I really like Tedesco its just I would of liked RTS the fullback position next year though the fullback position would be covered for years, pretty unlikely both would be injured at the same time

Would the speculation with the tedesco signing put a new contract for skids in question? Or even moga? With mini not set on retirement just yet, it leaves some big ??????

Can Tedesco play centre or wing?, they wouldn't sign him to play for Newtown.

We don't need him and, quite frankly, it would be tragic for the Tigers to lose him.

Apparently he was electric at centre in the RLWC for Italy (Mini was fullback).

But I believe he'll command upwards of 500k on the open market which is a lot to spend on someone to play centre when we already have Jenko as a top earner.

Finally we agree on something, Turkish.

Tedesco is excess. It's not a smart signing.

For me Moga is safe. Not sure about skids. Mini should be in for a very good year, just like last year, though for me this should be his final year. The Roosters legend is getting on in age.
