The irony about us chasing Tedesco is that a few years ago he wanted to play for us (his fav team growing up) but POS didn't show enough interest.
I suppose his decision to not sign him was vindicated by the signing of Roger dodger.

Napa, Evans, Liu, Moa, Langi, Moga & Mini are the First Graders off contract I believe.

The cap does go up an extra 250k next year too.

He's a great talent but he doesn't fit into our team, we'd be better off throwing the same amount of coin at a very good specialist winger/centre. I also just don't like the move considering what it does to the Tigers, he and Brooks are their future, I know I'd be pissed if the All Blacks or someone made Roger an offer he couldn't refuse and he took it, it also dilutes the competition, knowing you could beat the Tigers 50-0 every week would be fun for a bit but what does it do to the game?

I'd sign him in a heartbeat. Even though SBW is leaving, we don't need a forward - we still can't fit all of Langi, Evans, Napa, Liu and Casty on the bench even when SBW isn't playing for us. Our backline of ready made players however is quite weak; if we get an injury to one of our current back 5, it doesn't look pretty.

If Mini retires and we can sign a replacement of Tedesco's quality, then we are in a pretty good place. Would not surprise me to see Tedesco play 20+ Origins and 15+ Tests. Why would you turn down that kind of player when we might have an opportunity to sign him, assuming it's not his manager doing his job well linking him to us?

He will be a great pickup for any club, he is in better form than some of the better fullbacks of the game, he and brooks dominated the Titans game. Only thing stopping him from coming to the Roosters would be Jackson Hastings who your club rates highly, I do believe these rumours are rubbish and clubs like the Storm would of showed interest with Slater coming to the end of his career but time will tell.
