Tedesco Turnaround

So what is the real story behind the Roosters and their 'non-offer' to boom Tigers fullback James Tedesco? I am hearing that the club was torn over whether to chase the rising Tigers star.
Club chairman and the man who bankrolls the Roosters, Nick Politis, was keen to chase Tedesco. But coach Trent Robinson and recruitment guru Peter O'Sullivan were happy to keep the faith in their own gun youngster Roger Tuivasa-Sheck - and won out.
Tuivasa-Sheck is a superb talent and is sharing the fullback spot with veteran Anthony Minichiello but will inherit the job next season on a full-time basis. Expect Tedesco to announce he has signed a rich new deal at the Tigers next week in the lead-up to the Tigers' first match at Leichhardt Oval for the year.

It was believable they could of used RTS at centre.

The less influence Nick Politis has over our recruitment, the better off the club will be. It should be left to the experts, and those who actually have to deal with the players on a daily basis.

Tedesco is not a player we need, and at the moment you'd be paying top dollar for him, even though he's actually played less than 1/2 dozen decent first grade games and has a history of injuries.

He is exactly the type of player we would have signed a few years ago. I'm hoping those days are over.
