We were very lucky to win the penalties in the GF under Ben "Mr Fix It" Cummins. Excluding that game's 5-2 count in our favour (offset, of course by the penalty try to Manly) our counts under this nasty little ferret of a man are:

I think I've just about had enough of this unofficial handicapping system. There were SO MANY instances where the Roosters should have received penalties tonight, but which were mysteriously ignored.

Wake me up if they let us make the finals this year.

Shane Hayne was the dominant referee in the Grand Final, he usually keeps his penalty counts pretty tight.

Cummins' true colours were shown in the the Anasta "Off Your Head" incidents against Souths in 07, that was the most embarrassing referee performance I have ever seen and yet this ****wit is still running around on $150,000/year refereeing first grade, it's just a ****ing disgrace.

I agree, defence was absoulutely outstanding, if nothing else, we can at least take note that the Bondi Wall is back in action, we lost 2 of our first 5 games last year as well.

SKD rushed in for no reason, this left Matai and Blair outside of him which left RTS no choice but to rush in and hope the wrong pass was thrown. It was an SKD special, he makes his outside man look like a ****ing idiot a couple of times a month, it's why he should be on the wing where this decision is taken away from him, his best games (defensively) for us last season were on the wing outside Aubusson.

Between Steven thecarnt Clark and Luke crosseyed Pattern I believe they said obstruction cos PearceOrf ran behind the decoy.

Personally I couldn't see that considering the decoy touched no one and PearceOrf passed as he crossed the decoy.

Even Gus, who must've backed womanly with some cash cos he worked us over, expected a try ruling.

What the commentators said, well Beestinghead especially, was it should've been a try cos they have been allowing those this year, when the decoy doesn't actually interfere, which ours didnt, and the try is scored without an actual interference, even though a ball player crossed the decoy.

Again it's the consistency that's at question.

Personally I thought it as fine, but I may be a little biased.
