Ray I couldn't give a rats if everyone is against me. I am not like you just a blind supporter. They played terribly and should be called on that. I do not agree with the "no worries mate we will fix it next week " attitude.
They got beaten by an old side with no front rowers in the wet?? We are supposed to have the best pack in the world??
And all of you reckon thats okie dokie and it will all be OK next week?
    Sorrry for being a realist.

        A question for you sausage.
Have you ever played the game at any level above 6th grade?
Do you know what it is like to have a minimal share of possession and have to put all your energy into defence, to have a penalty count against you of 11-2. It takes a lot of energy at the level of NRL. What that means then is that you don't have the legs to attack the way you would had you an even share of possession, subsequently when you tire to that extent you make mistakes you make poor decisions and as a result you play poorly. Not because you are bad footy players, it is because of factors such as outlined above. So please don't tell anyone they are a bad football team................. THEY ARE NOT!

I could've sworn that this ordinary Roosters team won the GF last year.

This is probably a pointless exercise but I will do it. I played few first grade games for a side (not the roosters) in the early 90's. I then played many years of A grade football throughout NSW as well as 7 years coaching a first grade (non NRL) side that won 2 premierships. This does not make me an expert however it also doesn't make me a moron.
My comments are educated and fair. They have been ordinary - plain and simple.

Yep so what. It is now 2014 and they need to step up. They get paid to play every year not just win a comp and then have the next as a bit of a slow down... What they did last year now has no relevance, problem is just like you some players may be still living on it...

                    It's round 4 silly sausage.

How much did you drink tonight???

I thought you were just letting off some steam but you are tilting.

I'd love to play a game of poker against you. Easy money.

PS: Mods surely you can't elbow ANOTHER post???

Yep round 4. That doesn't make sub standard performances miraculously more acceptable. Round 4 or 25 doesn't matter - they were ordinary and unprofessional. All are going on what a "courageous" defensive effort it was...my attitude is they should never have been bullied into the position of having to defend so much. That my friend is realism!

After 4 rounds in 1975 the great Roosters team was on 4 points with 2 wins and 2 losses.

With the greatest amount of respect so what? And in the previous 17 years one side had won 11 times another 4 and another twice....Its a marginally different game if you hadn't noticed one now determined by momentum. Its not just that we are 2 from 4 its that we have not beaten either of the top sides we have played and only just got out of jail against Brisbane otherwise we are 1 from 4.....

When you drop the ball, cop a belting in the penalty count, are constantly carrying out from your own end all night and hold out the side who were runners up last season to only one try, even after they had set after set after set after set on your line, what do you call that silly sausage???

No team plays at it's best for 24+ weeks. It just doesn't happen these days. In fact it's rare it's ever happened especially in the modern era.

And after playing like eggs and copping a rogering from the officials and having womanly pull our pants down, with a few minutes to go, somehow, we we still in with a chance to win.

IMO, and many others it would seem, we were brave. We busted our arses for little reward. We never gave in. Not for a second.

That's what Premiers do. That may not always execute at 100% but they are never out of games.

Same with Souffs. We played worse IMO but with 5 to go were one try down.

And same with The Wankos, but we were lucky enough to escape with the result there.

If you can't see we put in the effort just didnt execute well you are a silly sausage IMO.

That's all anyone has tried to give, their opinion, which differs with yours. If you can't dig people see it differently well I don't know how you've made it this far.

don't be afraid to tell us more.
Who did you play for, where did you play A grade and who for and who did you coach?
I find it hard to believe you did any of those things as you do not answer my statement in my earlier post.
So I ask the question , Do you understand what happens in a game when you have to defend so much and have little possession. By the way Robbo does not agree with you either.

You are joking right. I have put a view on here and it is you that can't handle an opinion different to yours. Go re read your own posts. Geez you are convenient.

My point has always been they got themselves into the problem through poor execution and dropped ball etc.. I point you now agree with.

As to the rest of your diatribe I would say as "premiers" there are just games you have to go out and win to "impose" yourselves. These games so far were likely Souths but certainly Manly. We have failed in both major tests. So forget the 2 from 4 crap...we have had 2 major tests to our supremacy early in the year and have failed both of them. Brush it aside if you like - I don't.
