But its not just a thing against the Roosters.
Disgusting refereeing is happening in nearly every game and 3 or 4 of the weekly 8 games are ruined by the idiots in pink shirts.

Yet the NRL fail to realise that this together with ticket prices are the 2 biggest issues that are facing the game.
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

follow up with some legal writs against the refs for intentionally allowing manly to break laws of the game thus impacting on the fair and honest roosters fans who bet on the game in good faith that it was to be refereed honestly and professionally!

Venting a fine but the coach can't play the victim it won't work and make us look like sooks.

IMO use it as motivation but keep it inside the group.

They want perfect then we look to last year.

No matter what they throw at us, how unfair it seems, we jam it right back up their farking clakkas.

Don't even speak to the officials. Just defend and fire up.

When they say we can't win without penalties we show them again they can't stop us winning, no matter how lop sided the penalty counts get.

We won 6 penalty counts from 27 last season. Our 1 from 4 this year is on par.

        Eye of the tiger baby.

I'd like to know when the refs are going to start penalising the running a player off the ball when in attack?? Toops was run at everytime tonight & couldn't get past the manly blokes running directly into him..

Robbo had to say something though.

I say that because idiot commentators had started saying that this is some kind of tactic. That we deliberately give away penalties to gain an advantage.

I think we had to get on the front foot as a club and say something. I'm not for conspiracy theories but the perception of us is ****ing bullshit.

I'm happy how Robbo handled it. He didn't whinge and embarrass himself like that goose Toovey. He was calm, articulate and specific about certain penalties, players and referees. Pure class as always.

Listening to him speak this morning I'm proud to have him leading our club.

Well said mate I agree, it was time he said something, if even to let them know we know what's going on.

He handled it very well IMO also. Stayed calm, cited specific examples and didnt get personal.

Will be interesting to see if he gets fined or not.

It is obvious that Robbo is prepared to risk penalties to ensure that our defensive line is properly set. I am fine with this tactic and the resultant penalties. The problem for us is the media sensationalism which is now causing refs to overcompensate by not penalising the opposition.

Yes dice the odd penalty close to the line which every team does but we concede 70% of our penalties up the other end, the theory is complete bullshit.

Last years 2 highest penalised sides were the Roosters & Manly... So there goes the theory of it being a detriment

All teams rush up in defense to put pressure on the opposition in their own half. No surprises that is where most of the penalties are given.

The question is slowing down the play-the-ball to get our defensive line set. No doubt we do it more than other teams especially in our own 20m. Open both eyes.

I suggest that Robbo intentionally back away from that tactic in the grand final and it nearly cost us the title. There were many instances in that game where roosters defenders were too afraid to give a penalty and manly ran straight through us.

completely different rule interpretations this year, if we continue to be hammered in the penalty counts like we have been early in the season, not only will we not win the comp we won't even make the top 8.
