He was told he would be sacked if he awarded us more than 2 penalties?

Come on. There are plenty of people on this forum who ridicule anyone who suggests that NRL referees are treating the Roosters unfairly. Here's your big chance - tell Trent Robinson why his words last night were the ravings of a paranoid conspiracy theorist.

I think Ben is really keen on us actually. Why else would he ask the NRL for him to be given as many of our games to referee as possible??

2 penalties received in 120 minutes of football. Very "disciplined" play by our opponents, LOL.

They have all gone very quiet But I can assure you they will be back next week with their snide remarks next week when we win the penalty count which will happen

In his defence he's been rated as the best ref in the game by the powers that be when its clear he just can't handle the pressure.

See the Anasta debacle when he got penalised for being punched and then binned for getting punched minutes later.

He is rated best in the game as he is their hatchet man Mr fixit and a damn good one at that I remeber the old wall many years back were I predicted this would happen with Cummins and was laughed at by everyone

He is NO 1 in the game as he does what they want

Engineering the results of games, if anyone is doing that, is match fixing.

Match fixing is a crime...major crime...as betting results are affected, and it's corruption.
If anything can be proven, the Crime Commission must get involved, or stand condemned.

All it will take is for one person to tell all...and like the HSU cases recently, people will be off to the big house.

Y'all watch...Cummins will be assigned to our game against the Dogs, and exactly the same thing that happened against Manly will happen again...the NRL showing everyone just who's running the game.

                            Two things.

                            1. Mr. Cummings is a referee, like Robert Hughes is an actor.

                            2. The NRL made me watch Soccer last night.

I won't accuse anyone of match fixing, but there are plenty of people in the gambling world who would be willing to engage in it. That being the case, I pose the following question:

Is there any other sport that is potentially more vulnerable to match fixing through referees than Rugby League? So many subjective decisions can be made (or, in the case last night, not made), it is tailor made for it. With most other sports, decisions are fairly black and white. Also, to fix most team sports, you have to get to a group of players to throw the game. Being able to make a deposit in a Swiss bank account for one official is a match fixer's dream.

But enough of this fanciful stuff. I am almost certain that Ben Cummins is not corrupt, but merely has some undiagnosed eyesight problem.
