Hopefully he won't be as much a liabiilty as the one management is currently trying to palm off to Japan

And what's the one constant, even as all these coaches come and go?

The great Uncle Nick of course. He should stick to selling cars, 'cause he's crap at purchasing footballers.

Why - because I don't believe we've recruited well over the past 5 years??

            What? Injured more than Ryles??

FFS dragons fans used to joke about how often Ryles, Gasnier and Barrett were injured.

Ryles averaged 11 weeks out injured every year for the last 5 years of his career in the NRL, or to put it another way he was only available to play 58% of the time.

Hardly the picture of a player free of any injury risk.

If barrett was "Tampon", ryles was teh Surfboard. A bigger version with ears.

They were both in one week out for 3.

That is a 50% paycut compared to his ESL salary. No one, particularly someone who already chased the money to the ESL, is that stupid.

Had Ryles only been after small money like you claim, he'd have had his pick of other clubs besides the wooden spooners.

Worst of all, if our club was adamant about bringing back a risky old prop from the ESL, why not Cayless instead of Ryles? At least we know he'd give his all for this club.
How many clubs have 300-400k freed up in their salary cap in October? Very few.. He is getting pretty much the money Sa is on... As to Cayless he is broken down with injuries..

No one in the NRL is going to match the the money Ryles was on, otherwise he would not have gone there in the first place... Ryles is coming home because his partner hated it in France, unlike the no hoper going in his place who had no other choice.

I have never hoped of being more wrong about anything, but I believe Ryles will be a monumental liability.
Cayless took 350K pounds a year.. He wanted to go.
