    Hmmmm.

Fact is it's the defenders responsibility to not hit the attackers head. The rules are pretty specific.

JWH has a bad record so even a minor slip up attracts the heat. Sure it wasn't intentional but again he's hit another players head. The blame lays squarely with JWH.

IMO he's got off much lighter than I first thought. I'd grab the week and not bother getting a downgrade.

This is the price we pay for having a player like JWH same as Mozz. I can accept a suspension or two each year. It's all good.

Whats wrong mate. Talking too much sense these days.

I do not believe that an objective Sydney Roosters fan could come to the conclusion that Jared has been hard done by in receiving a one week ban for his tackle on Glenn Stewart.

Had the situation been reversed I dare say that the feeling amongst Sydney Roosters fans would be that the suspension was not harsh enough.

Somewhat related, am I the only one who thought it was in appalling taste, the way Roosters fans boo'd Glenn Stewart while he lay prostrate on the turf, and then boo'd even louder as he got carried off, never to return?

I mean considering Alex McKinnon and all...

            Not really.

I wasn't actually at the game but I think most of us thought it was soft and he milked it a bit.

If it wasn't for the new concussion rule I dare say that he would have returned in 15-20 minutes.

He is able to return after 15min with a free Interchange, that he didn't in such a tight game, shows he wasn't milking. Its a tight line these days accusing someone of milking, and you can look like quite a fool if you do (cam smith).

I don't think anyone could consider Glenn Stewart "soft". I mean seriously.

my concern with JWH is not the short suspension he likely receive but his distinct lack of pace due to him being so much bigger this season.

Take the week and move on. JWH plays on the ragged edge exactly where we need him to play. He'll be suspended more it comes with the territory.

                          Chook.

I think we should fight it.

JWH will not challenge the grading and has taken the early plea, gone for a week.

so only the premiers have had two top players suspended already?
