  • Friday Night Vs Bulldogs: Weather watch

Looks like we'll just escape the rain again tonight.

Might be one or two light showers throughout the day but the rain wont come until the early hours of Saturday morning.

    Should be a cracking game.

    Hopefully.

The ball and ground will likely be wet, as in the Manly game.

Imagine if the stadium had a roof on it.
Look at all those dry fans.
And one voice would turn into many.

Would be nice to play on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Hopefully we won't again be regretting that our players didn't wear gloves to improve handling/passing.

Hope you are right Rooster6...still amazed we dodged the rain last Friday as the radar looked terrible.

Your weather watch was spot on last Friday, so I don't see why anyone should doubt you again. Despite this, the crowd numbers will again suffer. On a fine night, we'd get 23-25,000. I expect something between 17-20,000. If by some ridiculous chance, you are wrong, and it's raining up to the game, that figure will drop to between 14-16,000.

I reckon 16,000 is the absolute most we'll get unfortunately.

Hope you're right, but for that scenario to play out, Maloney will need to bring back that pass, Jennings will need to put glue on his hands and Toupo will need to remember how to jump.
