A good footy game. One team had to lose.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

      Too good... Just.

Mini close to our best...wonder if the irrepressible Kakaruk will start a pro-mini thread to balance the ledger?

Come on JFC, no bites tonight. Mini was our best at getting driven back 5 metres every tackle.

Liu and Moa were our best. Jake was up there too. I thought Guerra was also up there.

Either way, it was a forwards game. Backs had no chance to shine.

The bulldogs commitment in defense won them that game.

Our wingers letting in tries lost us the game...this time our left wing.

No one at home, Dogs simply passed the ball along their backline and scored in the corner...no winger in sight near the sideline.

Our biggest forward was sitting on the sidelines, suspended.
In a very happy mood and smiling as he arrived at the ground...baaah...shoulda been at home in disgrace.

Dogs' Williams simply fending off our forwards with ease.

Another boring game...barge up the middle for 5 tackles then kick to the fullback.
...if you hold the ball for 5 tackles and don't throw a stoopid pass above your team mate's head he has no hope of catching and drops the ball that is...go-forward now being go-backwards, and another 6 tackles to the opposition.
About as exciting as sitting in the rain.

If the Roosters had kicked the penalty goal on offer, got the ball back and did more running down of the clock then they would have gone a long way to not losing.
                SUPER DRAGON!

Its not a hard game really is it. Kick the 2, take the lead, win the game.

                    100% correct.

I told them to do it, take the shot for goal, but they mustn't have heard me.
                    It was very annoying.
Their chances of breaching the Dogs' defence were poor.
We didn't score a try, or a field goal...Dogs got down our end and did.
                    We lost, Dogs won.
Dogs' fans doing victory dances at our home games...baaah!

                      you are a funny thing.
The first try was Jennings fault not the winger. he came in when he should not have

Who is the guardian of the sideline/corner?
                        Yes, exactly, the winger.

If the winger is in position, the opposition has to go thru the centres instead, where there's a lot more chance of stopping a try.

Same thing happened against Manly, their try scored where our winger should've been.

Two tries, two games lost as a result.
