  • The nly good buy we should make is Tariq Sims for next year

My Mail is he wants out of the Cowboys for personal reasons .He dont like it up there either.
Forget proctor etc sign him and fill the void.
He is up for grabs and I wouldnt hesitate.

Sims, Fifita, we need them both.
Our forwards were simply brushed aside by the Dogs last night as they marched the length of the field in 5 tackles nearly every time.

Their forwards made double ours, and JWH wouldn't have changed that going on this years form. Would take sims, wouldnt touch falafel for the that money or that attitude.

he is not our target, look at the Storm we are in big for one of their forwards.

The only thing about Sims, is that I think he is due for another broken leg.

Unless we shed a few we don't have funds for a big signing. Most of SBW's cash went to upgrading a heap of players. Still have Moa, Evans, Langi off contract too.

Last night and last week highlighted enormously just how much we need Fergo!! Fergo is oozing with talent, he has huge X factor with the ability to create something out of nothing and either score or set up a try. He on his own has the capability of winning us these really tight games like against manly and bull$cumdog$hit.

Because of all of the above things mentioned, he $hits all of SKD and is a must for us to get for next year, especially with the massive X factor that will go missing with SBW leaving us!!

A big meter eating forward with plenty of aggression is also what we are lacking!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                Here's looking at you, kid.

Ironic if the player in question was dumped from the kiwis side for sbw. It would be good signing though.

I don't think it's him they're after but in any case if it's him or the 'fro, I'm not sure who I prefer.

Fergo has to get registered with the NRL first.
Then if he does, isn't he going to the Rabbits with the Muslim connection now that he's converted to Islam, his mentor Mundine and co?

Sims is better than every Melbourne forward off contract at the moment.

It's hard to tell if we need a forward. It all depends on how well Napa & Evans develop. If they come on strong then all of a sudden we have 4 very good props, 5 given the potential of Liu.

But if they both stagnate then we could kill for a Jesse Bromwich type (who re-signed a couple of weeks ago).

I don't see the value in Tohu Harris or Kevin Proctor.

And Sims has been a bludger since his leg injuries. Not to mention I'm not a fan of any player who sooks about wanting to leave.

Sims has been brilliant at lock this year for the Cowboys, I agree since his injuries he just hasn't been the same player and I don't think he'll ever be able to play on the edges again but at lock he's been brilliant and starting to get back to his best.

At full strength at the moment Guerra typically comes on and plays 40 minutes at lock to relieve FPN, when SBW leaves next year he'll shift back to the edges which leaves the role of sharing lock with FPN open. I can't think of a better option than Sims currently on the market.

Evans looking like the real deal but I hardly rate Napa...Never more than a bench warmer
