    Lui in for Guerra.

    It's that simple.

Personally I'd have both. I think the hard decision needs to be made on who to leave out between FPN, Guerra & Maubs.
      You can't be serious!?

Even though it will be hard for them to do it I really think the team balance will be better served without him.
        I don't like Frank-Paul at prop either.

I like props as props. None of this mobile second rower packing down in the front row nonsense. That's straight out of the Ricky Stuart play book.

Not at all, I just don't think people care what players do in defence. It's not due to inability to analyse a game they just simply don't care.

If Kane Evans scored 2 tries through barnstorming runs & Napa saved two tries through great cover tackles do you think the latter would even get a mention on here? As Tommy said, defence is half the game but I reckon it makes up less than 5% of the discussion of individual players on here.

So I'll never apologise for adding balance to the discussion even if it means I come off as a pretentious git.

100% serious, Robbo has picked 4 props in every game we've played since his arrival. I don't think he's going to stop now. I may be wrong, we'll find out later this arvo but I think that's how it'll play out because it's how it played out last year.

It's not what you say, but how you convey it.

I often agree with what you're saying but you come across as a know it all, wiseacre with a carrot permanently wedged in your arse.

              Just sayin'...

Now you know how I feel trying to balance the Mini ledger from blinkered one dimensional thinkers on here!

now I can see naps digging in and playing better than he has. with liu now fit and proving he is a first grader, kane now blooded as well. good compertition in the forwards ranks. and houmo to come.

I don't really see why we need to choose. Surely we'd be playing a 4 prop rotation now that they are all fit as we did all last year?

The choice is most definitely between Guerra, FPN, and Maubs in my eyes. Personally I'd leave FPN out and start Maubs, but I know they won't do that.

My guess is our bench will be Morts, Maubs, Napa, and Liu. Evans and Guerra as 18th and 19th men

Guerra has probably been our best player this year.

And yet I do agree that the balance of our team is awry, with too many backrowers.

I'd prefer to send FPN and his 6 hit ups for 48m to Newtown.

Even if the stats don't reflect the couple of good games he's had this year.

Atm Easts forwards are not doing enough damage or making enough metres, so far Sbw 2 games, Moa, Friend and last week Liu 1 game have been the best at this so far... Jared has been struggling with these guys out, with Jared, Sbw, Liu all now in the side should open up our attack

Mate your not far off, Maubs is our mrfixit [can cover most possies with sbw able to play in the halves]. Morts needs more game time in the halves @ Jets so he can cover for our SOO commitments, 014 is more about speed and power Easts are going to need a bigger bench for a lot of games.

                              We need quality, not quantity.

SBW is an 80 minute backrower. Cordner is more than capable of the full 80, too. And Jared needs to play 55 min a game with Moa not far behind.

So there's only really 120 minutes at best to go around for the bench forwards ... does that really need to be split amongst four forwards?

What we need is quality - two performing big boppers to replace the starting pigs - and one backrower.

                              Quality, not quantity!

This is why Morts won't be going anywhere.

Wasn't Liu a star in our U/20s. Then went and toiled at Netwown before being called up to first grade ?

I think Napa and Evans should do the same, they are still very green.

Front rowers always need to be nurtured early. They have plenty of time.

I think Liu is a more accomplished player than both Evans and Napa.
