Totally agree with that.

Williamson didn't have the ticker. There is no doubting the Frenchman, when it comes to ticker with the career he has had to date.

I just have my doubts that he has the talent and game to make an impact in the NRL.

Only time will tell if and when he gets a run.

I am happy to be wrong, but many here are making out we are waiting for this superstar to return from injury. My point is he has not played a game of NRL yet.

Not sure he was brought here to be a superstar, just a solid performance week in, week out, with more experience than our young props.

How many superstar props exist or have previously? Only a handful. Jwh, fifita, graham, matt scott are probably the best at the moment, and webcke, lazarus,harragan , gillespi roach before that.

Comparing Casty to Ryan Williamson is offensive to Robbo's judgment.

He brought him to the NRL because he rates the bloke highly and if he gets an injury free run he WILL play 15-20 games this year IMO.

The point remains that Casty is so far unproven, and some of you are holding him with far too much esteem. As I said, he is yet to play a NRL game... but far too many are speaking like he warrants automatic selection when he is injury-free. How many of you have actually seen him play a full game to make that judgement already?

He played about 20-25 minutes in the WCC and offered more in that game than FPN has so far this season.

No 1 coach can only judge Casty on what he saw in SL.
Casty doesn't make it in the NRL? no worries, pay him his money and wave him farewell.

Well I said up-thread that it was that, plus Robbo's reference, plus his proven experience at playing like 100,000 FG games inc. being selected in the ESL team of the year that warrants the hype.

I was more referring to the fact that your claim of 'no one has seen him play', was obvious bollocks.

On top of that, he made a bigger impression in that Wigan game with limited time, than did the other pigs.

I think that injury permitting, he'll change our fortunes.
