Pearce, whilst trying hard, has been average since the Eels game
Sorry think its line break assist.. Not only thing base it on, his defence as always has been great as well. In a team that's attacking for is so far from its best, particularly go forward, I can't critisize him.

It's obvious that he needs a good 5/8 to make him look good, no coincidence that since Maloney's struggled Pearce has been rubbish.

Pearce has been playing fine, put a few players into holes last night and when it was needed to he nearly set up the match winning try yet again. Had SBW managed to get that ball down in the final minutes we'd be hailing him for setting up the match winning try for our last two wins.

Pearce is still creating as many opportunities as he did last year, it's SBW & Maloney who have just had quiet starts to the season in terms of creating points for us.

Pearce is the only ball player currently in our side who figures in the Top Try Assists & Linebreak assists. If dropping & blaming him is the answer then you're asking the wrong question.

          SBW was excellent last night.

The loss certainly wasn't on him.

          He almost willed us home.

The guy is a once in a 50 year player and won't go down without a whimper so if he's fit we're always a hope.

Yeh no doubt about that he's an absolute gun and I thought he was great last night, some people questioning his determination on here are kidding themselves but if SBW does create those few tries like he did on so many occasions last year & we win all of a sudden Pearce's performance is considered fine.

Pearce's output hasn't declined, he's still doing exactly what he was doing last year. Pushing the side around the park & pitching in by creating a few opportunities every game. He's just the scapegoat because everything hasn't clicked yet and a few individuals have had slow starts.

Let's face it.. We've never played good in the rain or on wet ground. Ever.
