  • should Robbo give the backline a shakeup

should Robbo give the backline a bit of a shakeup or persist hoping things will click, problem is we are quickly running out of time to simply stay the course, another loss or two and it makes it very hard to make the finals.

Maloney/Mini/SKD have done very little this season and Pearce has gradually got worse as the season has gone on.

Robbo obviously won't/can't make wholesale changes but should maybe consider one change just to shock some guys into action.

    Thats the problem.
Everyone is sitting back hoping someone else will pull of the brilliant play.
time to pull the finger out and forget about last year and realise this year is a new comp

Mini and Sheck swapping is Smiffy-esque.. Keep Sheck on his wing @ all times, he aint a first grade #1. Stop the short side raids down Jenko's side and give the man some space.

      Turk.

Mate, its Taylors area.He is attacking coach the side is not gelling in attack.D is ok.The decision on who plays fullback must be made imo.I would like to see sheck in the no1 but this switching around caper is not working imo.We will come good but there needs to be a heap of work done on our attack.

In all fairness I reckon skd had a good game. Had strong carries, ran straight instead of sideways and his defense was on.

Maybe robbo should give his playbook a shake up. I havnt seen attack so 1-dimensional since smiffy was coach.

Looking at the match stats and besides the penalty count we should of won tonight by 10 +
They missed more tackles we made more meters , offloads , line breaks
Our exacution has been letting us down , our forwards aren't playing that bad it's our 5th play options and stupid decisions in attacking positions..
I think SBW has been good but hasn't been pulling off the special plays hasn't been trying them either but our halves look confused instead of stepping up and taking control, they are staying back hoping someone else does something ,they're catching and passing and not taking the ball to the line, it's so one dimensional and teams aren't getting pressured in defence...Jennings isn't getting good early ball with space to use he's speed he's always catching the ball under pressure..
We have lots to work on fast

apparently Taane Milne had a blinder in his return for the NYC side tonight, he was very close to playing in the WCC when Robbo chose Maubs at centre and SKD on the wing when RTS was out, perhaps he could be the one to come in if Robbo does shuffle the back 5.

I think its a massive problem, roger looks lost just roaming aimlessly in field.

                            Amen.

                            RTS to FB.
                            Mini to the wing.

                            Drop Maloney?
                            No.
Our no 1 goalkicker...only a misguided coach drops his no 1 goalkicker.
