Given Jake's phenomenal effort to be in a position to score that try off Pearce's kick the 65 tackles didn't gas him that much

Joe Thomas commented to me when he was training Jake during Jake's extended suspension that he had a heck of a motor - that is a good wrap from someone as fit as Joe .

I am not worried about Jake's burn out - Morts has been ineffective this year though this is probably due to our forwards lack of domination and the fact he relies on his running game.

80 min hookers are not uncommon, the team just need to smarten up & increase their work rate around him & he'll be ok

I'll suggest my preferred option if/ when Jake needed a short rest.

Pearce to 9, Maloney to 7 and RTS to 6. Shuffle skd to the wing.

I think we will see the best of Roger closer in and in the front line longer term.

Im all for big reshuffles during a game and I am sure Robbo loves the idea too....while we are at it how about adding putting Kane Evans back to Fullback..we haven't seen the best of his running game and fullback could give him time to build a lot of steam and Minichiello as he has lost some pace to Prop.....

Also SKD better remember to stick to the sidelines or Trenticles will be giving Bongdi Boy a run on the right wing when the reshuffle occurs.

TBH Sheck is going to be our next F/B .....possibly a 5/8 further down the track JFC but I reckon his best position in the next few years will be Fullback not 5/8.. also Jackson Hastings will be part of the equation mid to long term as well.
