  • Fergo to Roosters rumour just won't die

    Fergie Time?

The Sydney Roosters have emerged as odds on favourites to secure the services of Blake Ferguson next season. The money they save from Sonny Bill Williams’ departure to rugby union will be thrown at the former Origin centre. And everyone knows Nick Politis always gets what Nick Politis wants. The Roosters are just waiting for Ferguson to get a clearance to resume playing from the NRL before striking. I just hope Ferguson will learn from reformed bad-boy Jake Friend. There is not a better example in rugby league of a player who has so successfully turned his life around.

Fletch fletch fletch.. The last time this was discussed on here the engraving on the trophy was on,y days old, and look how that conversation turned out.... Think now after few losses where this could possibly go...

      Why 2 cents worth.

No thanks... I can't tell you how much I hope that Tau stays fit this year and gets a full off season in his legs for 2015 and he will be better than Fergo. The virtues of a young man to come back from two knee reconstructions are the virtues I want the chooks associated with. Not fergusons virtues.

        Spot on mate
Fergo may be a talented footballer but he's an a-grade half whit. Not the sort of bloke we need hanging around our still young and impressionable squad.
We put the time, effort and resources into players like Moga,Milne,McDonald and recently Topou along with Roger, I hope the club sees them as a more important priority then signing Fergo

we definitely need more punch out wide but I'm not sure if Fergo is the answer, seems to have way too many mental demons.

if I was Uncle Nick/POS I would be making DCE the highest paid player in the game for 2016 by that stage the likes of SKD/Maloney/Mini/SBW would be all off the books.

I would take him in a heart beat.

He is a killer weapon and would go a long way to replacing SBW.

              Chook.

So would I........ if he wasn't a dickhead who had the potential to cause great disruption to our team. I'm sure Trent would keep him in line around training and what not, but there is only so much the Roosters can do. They can't really keep him from drinking at Northies until 3am on Sunday morning.

And other negatives against this signing would be what to do with all the youngsters we have invested in.... A fit and healthy Moga has the potential to be just as good as Fergo, with an attitude 100000 times better than Fergo's

You're talking potential in both cases and I know whose I'd rather have a go at refining.

                    Chook.

Ferguson is a world class ****.

I would strongly consider not going to games for the 6 months it would take for him to get sacked for punching, spitting on, or pushing another chick down some stairs

At his best Fergo is the best centre in the game.

He made our D look second rate last year.

Freak of a player. If he helps us win a Prem then sign him up.

So you would have Trent 'have a go' at being a psychologist/police/minder to get ferguson to reach his potential before you would have Trent be an NRL coach to find Tau's potential?

At his worst he sets a club back 5 years.
