Why would the club risk the great team culture they currently have by bringing in a bloke like Ferguson??

Like his relo Mundane, Ferguson never has and never will be a team player - it is all about him as an individual. That's how he plays and that's how he behaves.

He is just as likely to cost us a premiership as win us one.

Not to mention that the bloke is a tool when sober, and an ever bigger one when on the drink. And seems incapable of staying off it. If he is re-registered, the NRL will be expecting him to live like a saint, and I don't believe he's capable of it. So will be de-registered again at the first sniff of controversy.

He does not belong at the Chooks. He just doesn't fit what we are aiming to be as a club.

Don't like Folau as a person he has become but if this has any ounce of truth, would you think that Folau would accept a spot on the wing? I think he has graduate from that role and where ever he goes, he would be looking at the fullback or even halves position.

Fergo has already had his 2nd chance.

            And his 3rd, 4th...

He's had his second chance and more. And I don't recall his former clubs, Cronulla and Canberra, winning anything of note when he was playing for them.

He has been convicted of an assault against a female. If that does not give an insight into the character of the bloke, I don't know what does. But I suppose that's OK because he's got footballing talent is it??

Other than the sexual assault charge what else has Fergusson done wrong?

Being photographed with Dugan on a roof top & getting sacked from the Raiders because he didn't want to play for them aren't misdemeanors in my eyes.

The clubs mentioned above have drinking culture problems.

You could have said the same for Jennings, Friend, Pearce etc. Believe it or not, Cordner loves a drink too.

Even Mini was a party animal not that long ago.

They eventually grow up just like the rest of us humans.

                  SKD or Ferguson?

I know what my answer would be.

Speak to some people down in Canberra that have been unlucky enough to be in bars and clubs while he's frequented and you'll get a bit of an idea.

Or do you actually think him just casually groping a stranger's vag in cronulla was the first and only time he's ever done something like that and he was unlucky enough to get done on the first go?

They are in my eyes. He believes he's bigger than the team, bigger than the coach, and most importantly, bigger than the club.

Yes Vasco, the same drinking culture problems that our club has had in the past and has done its best to change in the past year or two. Bringing Ferguson to the club would be a step backwards from the standards the players have set themselves in recent times.

I don't much care how much a bloke drinks so long as he can control his behaviour while doing it, keeps out of trouble and doesn't draw attention to himself that will come back and bit the club. And that's where the problem is with Ferguson - he loves attention, drunk or sober. We will end up with the same problems we had with Carney, who also craved the attention. And it's not something one grows out of either - it is a part of their personality.

SKD or Fergo. To be perfectly honest - neither!

So have you spoken to people in Canberra that Ferguson has groped?
And if so why wasn't he been arrested for it?

Im not here nor there about Fergusson but I cant stand people who don't know him from a bar of soap who come out with fiction with no factual substance behind it & completely write a person off because they made a mistake.

                            Fair enough.

You were also concerned about SBW coming to the Roosters.

His professionalism has been just what our players needed.

I suppose everyone has got there own interpretation of what a misdemeanor is. While most on here were carving Carney up & wanting him sacked I personally thought it was all way over the top & his misdemeanors were nothing other than a media beat up that 95% of people believed.

So for me other than what Furgusson was charged with I cant see where he has had to be given a 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th chance.

I've spoken to people who have been out on the town with him and they've informed me of what a grade A ****wit he is. The cronulla thing is just the tip of the iceberg to a typical night out for Ferguson.

The raiders tried to cover up as best they could and the club, despite the coaches protests, wouldn't sanction him as he was playing well. He lost the respect of his team mates, caused friction everywhere, and then eventually when the penny dropped and he was finally punished he just pissed off and stopped turning up to training.

He is a complete tool and would do nothing but drag our club into the gutter
