I'd have Fergo here for the same reason we had Andrew Walker and Amos Roberts. And if they wanted to get James Roberts here, that would be okay too.

Treading carefully, I say that Native Australians have a natural talent for sport that many other people don't. Blake has that talent, like Amos and Andy (oops!) before him.
    SUPER DRAGON!

I'd have Fergo here in an instant.

Most of the posters who don't want him didn't want the likes of SBW, Jennings either. Case closed.

      Welcome Blake. Goodbye doofus.

Don't lump Ferguson in with any of our premiership winning team thank you. He's not man enough to pick up after the litterbugs outside Allianz.

Same people who call SKD 'doofus' are same people who said for 29 weeks last year we wouldn't win with SKD as centre.... Go figure...

I don't think many thought we couldn't win with SKD there.

Most believed he was our weak link.

            Nothing has changed really.

While many doofus moments do come to mind when I think of SKD, I'm sure the memory that will last longest is scoring a GF winning try with a broken jaw. Legend.

My other favourite memories of SKD include the 4 tries he scored against Brisbane in 2010. Andrew Johns had been deathriding us throughout the entire Triple M broadcast and we were on the receiving end of some dubious calls that night..just for something different..

Hard to argue with that mate.

In 20 years time, we'll only remember tries like the two he scored tonight, the GF winner and the 2010 Tigers intercept. We will tell our grandchildren about the great SKD. We'll lobby for a statue to be erected outside the SFS next to Dally Messenger.

                      • IMO if the Roosters had Fergusson playing for them tonight he would of had a blinder.

I actually believe the Roosters will sign him & that he will be a very good player for us. Only my opinion.

I had no problem with the Roosters signing him.

Depends what you mean by blinder. If you mean blinder as in drunk, I would probably agree with you.
I did read on the tele today that Fergo is tipped to sign with us in the article where RTS is urging the club to resign SKD.

                              • I really don't hope we sign ferguson. As good a player as he is, there are a number of reasons why we shouldn't, imo

                                - We have good young players coming thru, especially Moga, and signing fergo means it will be hard for them to push for selection and prove themselves
                                - It is imperative that we keep this team together for the next decade or so. RTS, Cordner, Friend, Pearce, Toups, Jenko, JWH etc. are all young and will no doubt be worthy of high price contracts in the future (those on long term already will probably have back end deals anyway). Then we have to think about re-signing Moa, Moga, BBQ etc. For all this to happen, we need as much $ as possible.
                                - The most obvious negative is Fergo being a dickhead. He has the potential to fuk up our culture and create a huge distraction to us.

As good a player as he is, I don't believe we need Ferguson. Ill support the decision if we do, but I hope we don't.
