  • Bill Harrigan wants to help improve our discipline

apparently a story in RLW stating that Harrigan wants back on our payroll as a consultant to help improve our discipline, can't see the point, didn't help last time we employed him as a consultant.

as long as Archer/Cummins/Cecchin are involved no one is going to help our standing with the pricks in pink.

Why not, I say do it... Perhaps it will help but if it doesn't then it's just more evidence of bias If we are still the most penalized even with a ref coaching us lol

The other teams are not getting penalised when they should, for the same things we're being penalised for.
How could Harrigan help with that?

If the current tripe continues we should go to war with the NRL, and the ARL board.

It's all due to the Superleague war. There's been a target on Nick's back for 17 years because he used his money to fight Murdoch and nearly won. When Nick leaves the club we might get a fair deal again.

We're going to be in a bit of trouble financially when Nick moves on, the refs will be the least of our worries.

What with PackJu flushing his money down the Macau toilet and Mark Bouris not being all that like we thought, we're in dead lumber.

Harigan is a knob that has done almost as much damage to RL as Super League and Ch9.
He has a huge ego and was the one that really started refereeing 2 teams differently in the one game.
                Especially if Brisbane was playing

The NRL has too much money and not enough sense since the partnership with Sportsbet. It's not about the game anymore it's all about them as evident of poor admin and pr to suit their money making agendas.

Egomaniac Harrigan doesn't give a shyte about our discipline problems, he just sees an opportunity to make some easy money by doing fark all. Hopefully Easts will see this proposed rort for what it is.

Having him on our payroll will do us more harm than good as far as the current refs are concerned - it's not as if most of them were crying into their whistles/touch judge flags when he was punted at the end of 2012. Apart rom his "chosen ones" that is.

Mark M and the Board are/will be good financial managers, and have heaps of business acumen.
Not sure if the son will follow in his father's footsteps, but you never know.

Mr P and co have set up the Easts Group.

It won't be the same, but we will survive!

Paying money to ex-refs for discipline advice?
                        Might work...we sure need something.

Want something these days, you usually have to pay for it.
Ex-ref talks to his buddies the current refs and tells them we're being penalised unfairly etc?

                        "Whatever it takes".

Only sign a short contract to start with though..."temp to permanent"...incentive contract only.
                        No results, no pay.

                          That's basically it.

It will take decades before the anti Roosters perception is wiped...probably longer!
