I just had a look at Cronullas games this year and the penalties they have given away each week - 10, 8, 6, 7, 5, 4 and then tonight against the reigning premiers they play the almost perfect game and only give away 2 penalties??? I think its as much abuot the penalties that arent blown when teams play us as what we give away ourselves?

There is no conspiracy people but as I've said before, we are perceived as easy targets by the refs to penalise. We don't whinge about it, that's our management, we don't cause trouble. Imagine if our fan base were as mad as the dogs? I'm sure the refs would think twice about getting to their cars after a game if they gave the dogs a 'ruff' time with penalties. We also don't have the 'sentimental' factor that souffs has. We're just easy targets. If there ever was a 'conspiracy', someone would have talked by now.

We did a great job again not letting some very questionable decisions get to us.
The two where they didnt use the Vidiot. A 12 point turnaround. Nasty.
But the players never gave up again.
Despite some of you crazies thinking the seasons over I'm proud of their efforts so far this season.
This tough period is showing us why no ones gone back to back for over 20 years.
I reckon later this season we will benefit from what's happening now.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

The last few years, teams trying to go B2B have come out of the blocks well but faded miserably during the finals.
Dragons in 11, Manly in 12, Storm in 13. ALL went bang bang. That's 0 and 6 combined.
Hopefully we go the opposite way. That is start slow but play our best footy when it matters.

The Ref's did everything in their power to take that from us. Whether it was a conspiracy or just plain, simple incompetence, I don't want to guess. A disallowed try and a goal line drop out that never was, it was an attempted screw job that didn't work.SUPER DRAGON!

I have also seen referees attacked at park footy however the POINT I'm trying to make is that refs are far more inclined to penalise our club more because they feel that we will accept their decisions, more at the management whereas a Manly will kick and scream until they get their way and they often do.
