I have backed Mini to the hilt on here But last night defensively was not good enough I am sure that he will bounce back to his very best next week
When has Minis defence ever been good???

Fact is last night he showed desperation and got himself under the ball carrier on more than one occasion to save tries.

He was very good positionally and got us on the front foot with some nice kick returns. Safe under the high ball as usual.

He also covered RTSs error just before 1/2 time, as a mentor at the back should.

Yes he missed a few tackles. Only after better defenders missed players in the front line. And it's never been in his game, great defence.

    What did you expect Shandy???

Lol..i m stunned again that mini has to be defended himself yet again from the Big Mikes of the world.

He made a couple of handling errors but also performed some defensive work that other fullbacks wouldn't have. He saved us a couple of times.

Its as if some of us are watching different games.

      How bizaare..

Um, try round 26 last year..when we beat Souths for the big wooden shield with all the shiny badges..I know it happened because the T-shirt I'm wearing at the moment says so...

Id hate to see what you think is a poor game if those are your standards.

I love the potshots but unlike you I can praise a player when he has a good game and try to retain some objectivity even though my view is somewhat bias. For you to try and tell me that the count had a good game, I have to question whether you just snoozed through the whole game.

I think using the terms stinker and howler to describe his performance can't go unchecked in a public forum...so yeah brace for potshots.

He did a few things which saved our bacon...no he isn't perfect but all fullbacks make mistakes every week not just him .

I don't think you appreciate what we have.

                That's a long term plan.

Pearce is only 25 so my thinking is Pearce to remain at 7, Hastings at 6, RTS at 1

In a few years time, i see Hastings developing into a first grade player, Maloney moving on and RTS becoming the long term five-eighth, hopefully we get Folou after SBW moves on and we stay far away from Fergo...

                    1. Folou
                    6. RTS
                    7. Pearce
                    9. Friend

                    17. Hastings (who can cover all of these positions)

With a full team something like...

Folou, Tupou, Jennings, Milne, Moga, RTS, Pearce, JWH, Friend, Moa?, Cordner, Aubusson, Liu, Evans, Napa, Guerra, Hastings

Latrell Mitchell and Willis Meehan could throw a couple spanners into your team Kegs. I also spoke with your father-in-law and he said they are keen on signing Radaradra from Parramatta.....
