Just went to that link and saw that jersey. It seems they're serious about that pale imitation of a Roosters jersey - I HATE IT.

Man that jersey sux! It's great we've got a new sleeve sponsor but it just doesnt fit in with the jersey. It looks shit. The shortened V is ugly as f**k and whats up with the top part at the back of the jersey? Why not just leave it blue? It looks ridiculous! Who the hell is the designer!?! The NRL needs to get fair dinkum and hire this guy for all the jersey designs: http://gazzzaf.com
The designs are awesome! The Roosters jersey looks wicked!

6 jumpers in the past 2 years according to that guy.

Club just wants to make money, stuff tradition.

That guys standard jumper looks excellent with the full V

Manly lose their $300,000 sleeve sponsorship deal with Mack Trucks
                        By Brent Read

November 20, 2009 Only days after losing its captain to England, Manly is battling to replace one of its major sponsors and staring at a $500,000 hole in its budget.

Co-owner Scott Penn confirmed sleeve sponsor Mack Trucks had withdrawn its $300,000-a-year support, just another slap in the face for a side which is reeling from the shock decision by Matt Orford to leave for English Super League side Bradford.

It doesn't end there, however. The financial hit comes as the Sea Eagles brace for a reduction in their grant from Manly Leagues Club, which will contribute only $200,000 to the club next year -- down from $500,000.

Penn and co-owner Max Delmege will also be forced to make another cash injection into Manly after a poor year hurt the club's bottom line.

It is believed the Penn and Delmege families will be forced to stump up about $500,000 between them to meet the budgetary shortfall.

It has the potential to test the frosty relationship between the families, which led to the resignation of chief executive Grant Mayer earlier this year.

Mayer is yet to be replaced, although former Manly and New Zealand coach Graham Lowe is expected to be appointed in the near future.

Asked about the decision by Mack Trucks to withdraw its backing, Penn said: "They have pulled out of sport."

"They flagged it early on. It's not a surprise to be honest. It's something we have been working on for a while. We have a lot of lines in the market, and we have quite a lot of bites."

"We're confident we will have something in the next month or so. It's fair to say that we budgeted to have a sponsor."

"So it's fair to say it's important."

Penn confirmed he and the Delmege family would need to use their own money to keep the club afloat.

The respective families, who each own about 40 per cent of the club, clashed late last year over money.

"Last time we spoke about it everyone was committed," Penn said.

Could Delmege be Roosters sponser for next season?

I doubt it, I know they have some affiliation with our club or at least the SCG trust but even with all the turmoil I can't see it happening.

He does some good work this guy. The "normal" Roosters jersey is a darn sight better than the one Hulk Hogan had on but having said that I'd still prefer it with a collar.
