I can only remember him coming on with less than 30 minutes to go.

Come to think of it, his style is akin to Proctor's. I'd take Guerra over Proctor still though. He was one of our best, if not our best forward, post-2010.

I am with you on this one , I hope that they use the money being bantered to upgrade our existing 3 s contracts rather than throw it at a newbie.

Who can forget his hole run to score under the posts in the GF 2nd half when we were 10 behind to put us back in business??

He came off again and was back on again really quickly.

I was sitting right in front when he came off, he was pretty p!ssed.

Maubs only came on while SBW had a 7-8 minute breather then came off again. It was only because Jennings went down fetlocked that he got back out there...

                Strange use of Maubs..

The problem for Maubs is that he has arguably the two best backrowers in the game ahead of him. And with Guerra/FPN forming a good lock forward rotation it's hard for Maubsy to get solid game time.

This was always going to happen with an extra forward on the bench.

If he could ad playing a bit of 9 n 6 to his game he would be the ultimate utility and Morts wouldn't be needed on the bench. I think Morts is a waste on the bench and would be a starting half in plenty of other teams..

Didn't Anderson or Fittler have Maubs in the halves with Pearce for a game or two in 07? 08? It didn't last long though. And I have seen Maubs play a little 9 when it's been needed. His brother can always give him a pointer or two.

There is little doubt that Maubs could play 6 and/or 9 at a pinch if needed, along with the other positions he can play. He is the most versatile player we have on our roster. And one of the most under-rated as well.

Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

He is a great talent that is going to get pretty pissed off only playing ten mins each week.

To tell you the truth Guerra has been playing top quality football for the last 3 seasons.

I've been saying for a while that i see Maubs as a bench backrower/hooker ala Mick Crocker in the early to mid 2000's for us.

On topic: Guerra has been great for us this year. I've no idea why some were saying he has been one of our worst. Consistently breaking tackles through the middle. He has been better than SBW IMO
