is it time for us to reclaim our 2nd tier team, seems to be very little pride from our reserves playing for Newtown at the moment, they are getting spanked almost every week now.

I'm sure the likes of Moga/Evans/Martin/Casty/Reuben/Langi/Taukeiaho would benefit by not only training but playing under the guidance of Roosters selected coaches/trainers.

guys like Langi/Reuben have certainly taken backwards steps in their development this season.

Surely Easts have some say in the coaching appointment at Pootown???

Surely similar tactics/structures are used in all 3 grades so as when a player has to step up to first grade they have a heads up on the role expected of them???

Reuben will never be a first grader. He's probably the worst defender I've ever seen.

Although I do love the Jets and knowing there is a lot of good people behind the scenes there I think you're right Fletch. I think a lot of it can be put down to the coaching of Matterson. Having worked with him I have never rated his rugby league intelligence nor his man management.

Would be nice to be able to watch all 3 grades @ home from time to time, Penrith did it @ a home game earlier this year. It'd be far more benefitial to have 2 full squads at training for apposed sessions, definatley a better transition for upandcomers.

they got done by the warriors 48-12 today, the game was over within 20 minutes, if there is a total opposite to how Robbo would coach a side that is how Newtown is playing, unwilling to do the simple things.
