Both would be too expensive. You should never extend the dollars too much on outsider backs. A quality spine should be prioritised, then a quality pack, then outside backs. We would have to let go a couple of our GRAND FINAL WINNING SIDE (aside from SBW) to acquire either of these chaps.
Both have major attitude problems IMO, but Folau less so.
I might get hung for saying this, but I would use SBWs money to throw at the best half going round at the moment - DCE. I don't mind Pearce but i think he has plateaued.

I would prefer Pearce to Daly "Picker" Cherry-Evans.

If I had one signing I could make it would be Sean Johnson under the right coach this guy would be the superman of Rugby League .
What the chooks have to look out for is the loyalty card -its what ruined us. To keep the fire burning you have to make the progressional changes .Think Broncos in the 90,s their most successful period .
Footballers these days cant put more than 3 or so consistent years together .
Some players ofcourse are exceptional in attitude but very few in between -Mini is an example of the good .
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
it looks like the long term player agreements may be in place for next year. this may help clubs retain players and the nrl are also looking very hard at the marque player arrangements.
after the sbw legacy who is our marque player.
Yes, and possibly backended other players' contracts to do so. Which means it's time to pay those players their higher money which means less to go around.
And I suspect that an increase in the cap going forward has already been taken into account when re-signing players, so not much extra there either.

Apparently Easts front ended deals in 011 n 12 to benefit retention and new signings beyond 013.. See what happens I suppose...
