No chance of Hodgson signing as explained by BS on 2ue he was there training to keep fit as his ESL club have given him permission to be at home for a while before heading back. He was invited by BS because BS also wanted him to pass on some tips to Todd Carney. Hodgson has also trained with West Tigers whilst he is back here.

Passing on tips to Todd Carney - Hodgson is a fullback so I hope he is passing on tips besides how to be a fullback.

This whole carney to fullback talk brings back the shivers from the one marker tactic deployed by Anderson.....doomed for failure. The guy is a gun 5/8th who was on the verge of playing for NSW. Why the fark play him at fullback especially when we have two graet fullbacks already?

The new coach has been given the freedom to do as he wishes... us as a club just need to trust his judgement now.. we asked for no interference and now we have it.

But from what I've read it appears that Peter O' Sullivan has lobbied to keep the Anasta and Pearce 6/7 combination which has caused this evaluation of Carney at 1?
If that isn't interference, I don't know what is! Unless of course POS is part of the coaching staff rather than just involved in recruitment.

Carney was POS signing though, not Smiths.
anyway,Pos is just bouncing ideas around with Smith.Smith will name the team he wants,in positions he wants full stop...
Wait till round one before we critisize selections at least...

                          Not criticising spanner, just confused.
I am ever mindful of what my parra supporting mate told me about Smith and I hope to heaven my mate is ultimately proven wrong.

I wouldnt mind getting Walker back. He was on fire for the Titans this year when he was on the field. He seems to have got his life on tracks off the field. He's a tryscoring machine.

                            1. Mini
                            2. Pez
                            5. Walker
                            6. Carney
                            13. Anasta

One thing that Parra had that we dont was Dennis Fitzgerald........I think, and truely hope that this will make a world of difference.......

Only time will tell for sure, but at the end of the day, if we finish 15th then Smith has made an improvement.......
