50% off tickets yesterday as well.

Even with these promos, these crowds look atrocious. Can't forget about the 30k Souths members that never show.

18k at the match tonight, they do have double our members though.

By memory, think we had about 19k against storm last year.

I dislike Souths as much as the next man but what exactly are you basing your assumptions on? Your comment is ridiculous.

How many free tickets, I wonder.

Does it matter? As long as the crowd is in, they are spending on other things.

I'm sure it was closer to 16k, which I thought was quite good for a cold Sat night.

I was having a dig yet you took it too seriously however you may want to consider the seriousness of how the souths cares charity has only donated 10% of the funds raised over 2 years - and in that time the money has been used internally meanwhile the charity it is also under investigation of ripping off Medicare in 3rd party payments.

Yes but, if we were handing out free tickets everywhere we'd likely get a lot more than a 16,000/18,000 crowd.

                        1. Free tickets are not fair to the fans who had to pay $38 or some discounted price at some time or other, maybe while they were at work.
                        2. Free tickets...no money goes to the club in gate takings/income with which to stay in business.
                        3. Spending on other things...most of that goes to the caterers.
