      I'm not fussed with Moa.

I thought JWH and Toups were up there as well.

Deserved the Clive Churchill last year in the GF so no issue from me if he gets motm for all 24 games regardless if he plays or not.

I dont understand why u r surprised. I thought he was fantastic. Respected the ball. Respected the opposition. And did his usual great job. If some of the others showed the same respect we might have put 60 on them.

I watched the game online in bloddy Brisbane cause we only get the bonkers game live. The stream was poor and I couldn't tell if Moa was playing at all. I thought Mini, Jennngs and Toupo might get it then again SKD was solid without being spectacular. Poor performance was from RTS and SBW was diamonds and rocks.

Personally I think the MOM came from the Tigers, the young fullback, he had a wow of a game, in a badly beaten side, he troubled us all night, but have no problems with Sams MOM at all, he never plays a bad game. I thought we were very shabby most of the night, and if we take that form to Townsville, its going to be a long night.
RTS, is not my ideal fullback replacement, and is a yard or two, to slow for a winger, a couple of breaks he made lastnight, a fast winger would of scored from, but he was run down. I think he is a natural 5/8th, but that wont be happening in the near future either.Still plenty of work for this team to do, to even contemplate going back to back.

Poor performance from RTS? Apart from the dropped bomb what was poor about his performance? Must have been the 3 breaks that he made.

Maybe if he had dropped the ball with an open line in front of him like flipper hands mini and skd then you would have wrapped his game.

Mini and skd has solid games btw.

Mini dropped a ball in the second half with an overlap developing on the right wing ....but it was Pearce who dropped the gimme. Just grateful that didn't cost us in the end !

yes Mini dropped it but the ball went behind him. the pearce drop, well the ball passed by SBW was limp. Salvatory at the time said he had it on his chest but when I watched the game again, the ball was about 1/2 m in front 'groin' height. Pearce would have expected around the 'bread basket'.

3 points - Third cheerleader from the left.
                        2 points - Freddy's remote control car
1 point - My dog who sat through my tirade of abuse at the TV watching my team of down syndrome sufferers.

                        Chook.

Well on another thread you 'scoff, laugh, whatever' at the opinion of JTF for saying Mini had a good game and God forbid someone says something bad about RTS... Yet on this thread you say Mini had a solid game. On another you say that Mini was no where near a MOM performance, but if he had a 'solid' game like you say here, wouldn't that be a genuine MOM contender, especially since collectively it was a woeful game? I'm not tracking your comments but after reading them in threads I have also participated, I find your opinions inconsistent however there is consistency when it comes to making negative comments on Mini, week in, week out.
As for my opinion on RTS, well last night he had a few mistakes, for someone we're going to be relying on for a few years. Obviously it was the bomb he dropped, then he made a break in the first and when he came 1 on 1 with the fb, he just chocked and submitted so easily. Where was the side step? Then in the second he gets caught by a midget when we all think that RTS had speed to burn. I'm sure he dropped it again. I like RTS but I am believing that fullback and in defence he may not turn out what we are hoping him to be.

I was at the match and struggled to find a MOM. Someone mentioned the Tigers FB - he was outstanding. Tigers were allowed to stand offside for 1/2 of every set in D and put pressure on our line and we made errors turning it into one of the worst exhibitions of League.

Watching the highlights, Maloney was in most tries and possibly deserves mention, especially playing with pain killers. Toups was strong - he made that try. Pearce and SBW combined to blow a certainty and I split the blame 50/50 for poor unweighted floating pass and catching skills.

Apart from allowing Tigers offside, I'd have given it to the refs. We actually won the penalty count.
