Can't drive from Penrith to the cross? Take a train, cab, hire car?

We are also exposed between the city and the sea and Braith still lives around that area if I'm not mistaken.

He's shooting his mouth off to raise his media profile. He had a pot shot at Pearcey a week or so ago about Brooks being close to taking his origin jumper or some shit. Didn't read it but didn't have too. He's a mouthy prick.

One of my most hated ex Roosters. I seriously can't watch a game before 2013 if he's playing. Makes my guts churn.

      Chook.

It just amazes me how people still speak fondly of the cap thief.. It is like getting mugged and thanking the mugger for the experience.

Credit to Braith for actually expressing an opinion and not coming up with the usual vanilla PC nothing statements of most footy players.
Why thank you my good man. I think you and I are the only calm rational ones who can read properly!

What on earth are they going to do if and when Blake does come? He said he likes eating in pubs because he enjoys the schnitzel. The media will no doubt make an issue every time he leaves his home. As much as I dislike the man, intense media scrutiny can make or break someone these days. Look what happened to Ryan Tandy and no-one deserves to end up like that. For the sake of his own sanity and health I really hope he doesn't come because the media have shown how they can behave like hellcats when it comes to our club.
If star players at another club had done the same thing as Pearce and co and one had been arrested...there would've been exactly the same drama.

Ferguson deserves the chance to redeem himself...he too needs to stay right away from alcohol, and maybe from day one go onto the same continuing counselling program as Pearce.
And the NRL needs a boost with another star on board.
Crowds are down, many games have become boring and some are of a low standard...I had to switch off the Dogs v Dragons match the other day...the Dragons were terrible.

That was me holding back mate.

I have no doubt that if Fergo was going to bull$cumdog$hit, $ouff$ or his current club Tigers, he wouldn't have a problem and kept his pie hole shut!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

              Here's looking at you, kid.

Totally agree RWB but I suspect the club will have to learn the hard way (again). The last place that Ferguson should be spending any time is the eastern suburbs/city where there is no shelter from the spotlight.

Add the spotlight to his arrogant attitude and you have red danger signals lighting up everywhere.

The only positive I can think of is if there is any hint of misbehaviour, the bloke will be de-registered again by the NRL, who won't tolerate anything but perfect behaviour from him. So unless he pulls his head severely in his stay will be short, if not so sweet.

Make that 3 of us guys as there is no way I want BF at our club either. It is a recipe for disaster and I think the guy has even more baggage that Carney and we know how that ended.

I can't argue with you there. I don't watch the other games anymore as I just can't be bothered. I really don't care what other teams are getting up to these days. I thought it was just me but other friends tell me the same. I did tune into the Dragons game and switched it off at 5pm as well. I'm only watching Origin until 9pm and then going to sleep as usual. It's all overblown nonsense these days with all the silly ways of bending the rules to allow anyone who has ever laced on a boot to be eligible for QLD. If you had a holiday at Dreamworld, you are eligible apparently.. And don't get me started on Souths v Melbourne for Friday night viewing..if that doesn't make people sick during the dinner hour I don't know what will..ugh..at least I can take comfort in the fact that one of them will lose..that is a certainty..

I'm personally aware of how Blake is going, one good season out of him could net us another GF, its highly likely he would go off the rails after having put in 1 good season....

And I've seen many teams improve quickly with great attack but to do it with defence is much harder.

Robbo is a champ, hope we have him for 15 years.
Well said Fitzy. Man management is such a big part of coaching and Robbo has it in spades.

Mate I will never forget doing a gig at the Evan Theatre Penrith Leagues. Finishing the first set and sprinting down to the Sports bar to catch the last bit of the game (our sound guy had been screaming out scores during songs) . I got there in time to see Braith kick the field goal which I will never ever forget. Do i think he was an oxygen thief and a cap thief for the remainder of his time? Absolutely no doubt.
I then sprinted back for the 2nd set after Skiddsy scored, playing Love Shack with the biggest smile on my face 😊👍

Funny how some on here call Braith the bitter one but plenty on here have nothing but scathing comments to make about him. The DVD of that Wests semi final is still the best selling one from the official archives website.

I wouldnt say I am scathing Braith, young lady 😊 If thats what you mean. I just think the last season from him was disgraceful. Playing in the forwards his work rate was diabolical. It was like playing with a forward short.

But I will always remember that field goal under the ultimate pressure.

I quoted you JC because I was agreeing with you about the field goal and at least you have the brains and common sense to at least acknowledge something positive and memorable about Braith's time here. What bugs me is the ones on here who behave like sheeple. They can't see the forest for the trees so all jump on the hatred bandwagon and have selective memories when it comes to Braith's time here. It's very very easy to take cheap shots at someone but the more calm rational ones on here can remember and thank Braith for the good he did do in his time here. As Hollus pointed out about a month ago, there are quite a few bitter lonely old men on here posting lately. It's dragging down the neighbourhood!
