  • Channel 9 has the Pearce CCTV footage will air on monday

Pearce's near term future could hang on what the footage reveals.

also sounds like the integrity unit has Cordner set in their sights for his actions on Saturday night.

Channel 9 are a disgrace. Their conduct regarding the Alex McKinnon was a tragic reminder.

It could be damning, but it could still only be very minor.

Still, hugely disappointed in Pearce and Cordner. Neither will be captain next year.

Captiancy, will probably go to Friend, BBQ, is still giving away far too many pot plant penalities for my liking, he just doesn't think before he does them, not the ideal situation for a captain. Jake has made every post a winner, since turning over a new leaf, its a credit to him, bit like the Beetson scenario, a terrible record of being offside with officials, in his younger days, always in trouble off the field as well, and turned into one of the best captains , and player, the club ever had.

If there is any incriminating evidence in the CCTV footage would channel 9 be able to show given it is part of a police investigation?

I've got the footage of when he is being escorted away.

He is very quiet and didn't look aggressive or drunk at all.

Nothing is "before the court" yet, so maybe they can show whatever they like atm.

Wow gotta love the suspense created by ch9, its like there has been a murder.

Where does ch9 get the tapes from and who allows it?

Is Pearce still in a relationship with the girl he seemed to dump for that model or whoever she was he took to the major function...then went back to her when the model went back from whence she came?

A lot like the street-fight between two friends...detectives canvassing the area door to door looking for witnesses.

the NSW police are scheduled to have a press conference later today on the incident, I guess we will find out then if the young lady involved in the incident wants to press charges.

He seems to have reliable inside knowledge.

                          Why withhold info?

I believe this is not good timing and a very bad look for Pearce, the club and the NRL. I've already heard stories, all of which are not good.

What I know for sure, whatever has happened is being sensationalised by the media. Channel 9 have the footage, their reporters have seen it, yet they are holding it back until 6pm tonight. They already had it yesterday.

A reporter from 9 was on the Grill Team this morning and basically said the footage didn't show much, other than that there was an incident.

Again, not a good look and bitterly disappointing. If any of what I have heard comes out as true, then he has to be sacked. But fortunately they are all just rumours at the moment. The media are making a huge deal out of this, which is unfortunate as they should be celebrating the life of an immortal.

                              FRom tele

Embattled Roosters half-back Mitchell Pearce is seen to lunge at a woman before sitting back in his chair and laughing during an incident at a Kings Cross nightclub on the weekend which was caught on CCTV.
Pearce said he knew the woman when he was arrested and escorted out of the Beach Haus Nightclub by police at about 1:30a, on Sunday.
“On the CCTV footage Pearce gets up and reaches out towards the woman who jumps back and then he sits back down laughing,’’ said a police source.
He said its difficult to see if he makes any contact with the woman who is clearly startled.

Police are not seeking to interview Pearce at this stage unless the woman, who hasn’t been identified, comes forward and makes a complaint.
The CCTV footage is still be scrutinised by police.
The NSW Integrity Commission has also contacted police to find out if any charges are to be laid.
As a result of his arrest, Pearce’s State of Origin hopes are in serious doubt and his long-term future is also unclear.
In another black eye for rugby league, Blues Origin coach Laurie Daley confirmed the 25-year-old’s standing as the incumbent NSW half-back would be reviewed after police called for witnesses into the incident.
