  • Whats more disturbing?????

WOW that was quite an exclusive from channel 9 tonight. The footage showed at best Pearce leaning towards a woman, a split second is out of view. Geez is that it??? Is it more disturbing that 9 plugged that all weekend or the behaviour of certain supporters who called for him to be sacked???? Fmd hang your heads in shame, you know who you are. Some people obviously are nieve and show how unintelligent they really are. Then again it was rather hilarious reading those post from the these fools. Thanx again.

Calling for him to be sacked without any evidence of a serious indiscretion was/is foolish.

But there's no doubt that he's done enough wrong but dash his captaincy hopes.

He isn't a captains arsehole imo.

Ricky Ponting captained the Australian cricket team after a much worse offence.

Saying he has dashed his hopes of captaining the team isn't too far behind saying he should be sacked.

He'll grow up quickly from this.

Grow up quickly? He's 25 and has been in FG for about 8 years now so he better hurry up.

And I beg to differ on "no captaincy" being not too far behind a sacking. I think there's a vast difference personally.

Based on that evidence, what did he do wrong??? . Its all innuendo. I think alot of people have been in a situation where they feel they have been unjustly ejected from a venue, I know I have. Ok he should have moved on cause once you are ejected youll never be allowed back in.Its the same old thing if they threw everyone who is over the limit, then there will be hardly in there id say.

How grown up were you at 25?

I dont think many people called for him to be sacked, i think a lot of people were likening his situation to Fergo, and if convicted, then he should be sacked.

When you are not under scrutiny you can be 40 and not grown up, but unfortunately for these blokes, the career they choose doesn't give them that benefit, but they are compensated with the amount of money they earn, and it would be interesting what line of work they would be in, if their football career was taken away from them tmrw.

Having money and being famous doesn't equate to maturing any quicker than others.

It can actually have the opposite effect.

And to answer your question, most would be just average wage earning battlers like most people.

I believe this is the upper-cut Pearce needs to focus on his career?

Pearces prob is that he literally drinks himself stupid. He isn't aggressive or rude, just plain brain dead.

Having said that, this is a pretty big beat up. Fine him and move on.

Just hope he doesn't run out of chances.

Of recent memory, I cant think of any of our golfers, or tennis players taking a chance with destroying their careers, what amazes me more is the v8 drivers not getting done for reckless or drunk driving which would probably end their careers, they seem to have more value on their opportunities.

I only saw ch9 news last night. Did any other channels make it the lead story?

Was a non event in my opinion.

Everyone I have spoken to that saw that has said, "what were they trying to show?"

Ninemsn have got an article today saying that the players were all bunkered down at HQ yesterday chanting at the media outside, and one player who they couldn't recognise came out in his undies and a mask.

                              Bernard Tomic?

Besides, those are individual sports. Playing in a team is totally different.
