                If jwh gets suspended for a few matches who takes over? If jwh is selected as the captain he must show leadership and control his aggression. I'd go with friend or jwh

                    Still seems a bit immature imo JWH, nothing to concerning.

                    Friend on the other hand seems like a quiet guy who does not seem to like too much attention, I think he would be a good captain, cos no one plays as committed as him, but I wonder if friend would actually enjoy being captain or not?

                    Both have the potential, but I think they may be a year or so off. Id give it to maloney.

                    Funnily enough, only a few days ago I said I'd like to see pearce as captain, as it may help him mature, so what do I know? Bubkus.

                      Isn't it nice to have choice! This is a real TIT matter and totally unlike our poorest decision in my lifetime (outside of Ron Jones believing Mal couldn't play) NOT to give captaincy to Fitzy and instead give it to Bwaif

                            Friend - as long as he wants it and it sits comfortably with him. He would certainly have the respect of his team. Not sure he would like the media duties and being the public face of the club.

                            If Friend doesn't want the media attention, I reckon Maloney would do a good job. The only issue is, I'm not sure if the club see him as a long term or a short term prospect. I guess it doesn't matter - he could captain for a year or 2 until some of the boys grow up.

                            Maubs would be a good captain, but his place in the team is too tenuous.

                            Pearce, JWH and Cordner are party boys.
