So Laurie wasn't going to drop Pearce because he didn't want to drop Cordner but now that Cordner is injured he can choose the Dogs halves. Weak as piss.

Personally stoked to have our halves playing for us during Origin and also stoked to give someone else the chance to be scapegoat for all of NSW's woes.

              Horry,

I couldn't agree more. I'm a died in the wool Queenslander, living in Townsville but my heart bleeds red white and blue and I could not give a flying .........about State of Origin. All I live and breathe for is to see the mighty Roosters at the top of the table, State of Origin and all the ridiculous hoopla surrounding it can go fly a kite as far as I am concerned.

Why is everyone suprised.Laurie Daley always was and always will be a di**head of the highest order.A crap coach to boot.Maloney and Pearce are lucky not to have been selected because no one will be able to point the finger at them when Daleys Dogs get flogged.

Rothfield will find a way but what he says is irrelevant.

I care little for origin and the only dogs I hope get flogged this week are Hasler's.

In my opinion the outs for Canterbury are far more detrimental than who the Roosters have lost. I base that on the depth we have and the fact losing a halves pairing like Reynolds and Hodkinson who are in form would upset the team balance more so than ours.

An excellent opportunity this weekend for the Roosters to get the season back on track well and truly.

Im a massive fan of Origin. I love the Blues & I believe they can beat Qld this year.

Im happy with the NSW side I would have had Pearce & Reynolds in the halves but unfortunately that wasn't possible because of the goal kicking issue but I feel Hodkinson will do a good job. I also would not have picked Tupou I would have gone with Dugan at FB with Hayne on the wing but Im looking forward to watching Tupou play SOO.
I like the forward pack Gallen Scott Hoffman Woods Farah Tamou, it's a tough hard mobile pack that can get over the Qld pack & allow the Blues backs to fire.

Merrin, Watmough& Luke Lewis are quality players & hopefully Tony Williams fires as well.

LMFAO... possibly the worst blues side I have seen perhaps ever. They will get seriously pumped.

                      9 in a row

Mate we have had worse. I'm hopefull, much like the previous 8 yrs, that we can win it but gee that team is really going to have to play well and Hayne is going to have to produce big time.
Not impressed with the back row with Cordner and Bird out I would have just gone way left field and selected Gallen up front with Watmough,Simms and Jackson. Hoffman and Scott have failed on so many occasions it's not funny. Disappointed for Jimmy and Junior but happy to have them playing with us.
How Williams got a run is mind blowing to say the least.

Williams has been playing well for the Dogs, of late.

He's had 2 good games in 18 months.

Ask any dogs fan if they rate TRex, and if he's worth the money, then retreat to a safe distance.

He's had several good games lately, starting with the game in which the Dogs beat us at home.

He was at his best form a few years ago playing for manly, he was chosen for origin AT HIS PEAK and still played like crap, his not made for origin and will prove again just how soft he is.
